PJs Date outfit
It was the night of the supposed-ed date and Kayla had convinced herself he wasn't going to show, so she was just lounging around in her pjs, not doing anything in particular. The common room was empty. Most of the students were out and about. It was too early to be going to bed right now, but Kayla was glad to be on her own. She pushed herself off of the couch and walked over to a mirror that hung above the fireplace. She looked at herself in the mirror and grimaced a little. "Why would he want to take you on a date. Your pathetic, broken and a whore. Said Kayla to her image. She turned away from the mirror, unable to look at her reflection anymore. She hated seeing herself. Kayla walked over to a coffee table that had a jug of juice on it and some snacks. Kayla plonked her butt on the couch and poured herself some pumpkin juice. She took a sip of the sweet cool liquid and then set the glass back down on the table. She picked her legs up and layed down on the couch. Her eyes closed briefly as she tried to ignore the insults her brain was throwing at her. She seriously was screwed up in so many ways she didn't know where to begin.[/blockquote]

Jack decided that they'd be simple and go to Vakkar. He wore a simple outfit, or simple to him anyway. Black slacks and a black and grey striped shirt. He wasn't nervous, he was excited. This was the beginning of something between him and Kayla, and he was going to make sure she remembered it. He wanted her to be taken aback by him and the idea that if they were together, he would treat her right. Of course, he was indeed an assassin, so there would be some interesting twists and turns to their relationship, but he would keep her safe, buy her things, take her with him when he was on a mission.
He entered the hall and headed to the Isbjorn common room. He did not know the password, and that was okay. He would knock. Or...wait? Waiting would'nt do. What if Kayla expected him to knock and he didn't? Then things wouldn't go anywhere near as planned as he'd wanted. So Jack knocked, and waited. This was going to be a good evening, he could tell. He just needed Kayla to answer the door and they'd be on their way!

After a little while, there was a soft knock on the common room door. Frowning, Kayla got up and made her way over to the door. If it was someone in her house then they would just use the password to get in, even a professor would have done the same. As she approached the door, her eyebrows went up and she gasped a little, realising it was.....Her mouth gaped slightly as she saw Jack standing there. Kayla's gaze run over him quickly. He looked good. Amazing actually. Kayla was now embarrassed that she had doubted him. But what was she to expect after being stood up by any guy that had asked her out. Kayla bit her lip nervously and looked down at her bare feet. "Ummm hi." She said still not looking at him. She stepped back and opened the door wider to let him in, which was totally agaisnt the rules, but she really didn't care. "I umm, didn't think you would turn up. Sorry." She said still not looking at him. Once he was inside she closed the door and walked back in to the common room and then turned to face him. "Erm, if you still want to go out, I can be ready in like five minutes." Said Kayla as she looked Jack over one more time. He really did look good. It was an image she wasn't going to forget too soon.[/blockquote]

Jack looked at Kayla and let a very slow grin spread across his lips. Even in her pajamas, her hair hardly done up, clearly not done for a date, and makeup done in a way that said she was staying in....she looked beautiful. She clearly hadn't been expecting him. Her words made him raise his eyebrows. Kayla didn't think he'd be coming? Why not? He said he would. Jack nodded a couple of times and stepped into the common room, staying near the entrance, since he wasn't even supposed to be in there in the first place. "Absolutely. Take your time," he said, wondering what had happened in the past that had made her think he wouldn't turn up. That was key to him. If she, on their first date, decided he wasn't going to show up, then Jack was going to make sure that he always showed up when and where he said he would. That was his first promise to her. That he would be there, especially if he said he would.

Kayla thought that Jack may be angry with her because she was so not ready for the date. But no, he wasn't he gave her a rather sexy smile as he looked her over. God knows what he was thinking at that point but it must have been good. Kayla smiled slightly as he said he was still up for going out. She gave him a nod and then made her way quickly to her dorm room. As she ran across the room to her wardrobe she pulled off her top and let her shorts drop to the floor. Opening the wardrobe she pulled out the dress and shoes she had decided to wear the night before. Atleast he wouldn't have to wait for her to choose a outfit or shower either as she had already showered a little while ago. Kayla pulled on the dress and did it up, then slipped her feet into her shoes.
All that was left to do was her hair and make up. Her hair she was going to have to do with magic. She couldn't have him waiting there for half an hour while she curled her hair. So Kayla flicked her wand at her hair and it instantly transformed into loose curls that fell around her face and shoulders. Kayla applied some make up, nothing too heavy. Looking at the clock she realised it had only taken her about fifteen minutes to get ready. That had to be a record. Before she left her room she grabbed her cardigan, just incase it got cold, which it probably would because it was winter.
Kayla took a deep breath and made her way down to the common room where Jack was waiting, looking extremely handsome and dangerous at the same time. Kayla walked over to the door where he was standing. He could get into so much trouble being in the common room. "Ok, I'm ready. Sorry for making you wait." She said nervously. This was the first date she had been on, she would be surprised if she managed to eat anything tonight, although she was going to have to. Kayla was sure she would have calmed down abit by the time she had got to the restaurant.[/blockquote]

Jack was caught off guard by Kayla’s presence when she returned. Her outfit was stunning and Jack was at a loss for words for a moment. Kayla looked….the part. For a moment Jack pondered what that even meant. He was a trained assassin for a very wealthy person and did his job well. He was skilled in etiquette and knew the ins and outs of the higher part of the social ladder. He’d gone to balls, banquets, and been to numerous Muggle charities and events. Of course, he was never truly a part of those; he had to look like he was. But Kayla…she could look the part too. Eloquent, modest, and secretive. That was the part she would have to play, and she looked it. You look more than lovely, he said, standing up away from the wall that he’d been leaning on. He held his hand out for her to take and headed out into the hall.
He had something planned. He had something very intimate and romantic planned. It had taken magic that he’d only used when he was away on missions, but Kayla was worth it. She was worth the time and thought he’d put into the evening. They walked through the halls of the school, the yellow lights from the candles and torches leading their way. I don’t want to frighten you, but although we’re going to Vakkar, we’re not going to a restaurant. We’re going to a place that…I’ve put up for you. He said quietly, pushing a door open and leading her through it. The hall lead to the entrance and he pushed open the big double doors leading to the outside grounds. The night was cold, and he was suddenly aware the Kayla may be cold as well. I apologize, that it’s so cold. If we walk fast, we’ll be at our destination in no time at all. He grinned a crooked grin and continued walking with her. It was nice. It was dark, and quiet. They didn’t say a lot, letting the walk do the talking for them.
Soon enough, Jack started to slow down. We’ve arrived. Close your eyes, He said, pulling her into the side of the road to a clearing. With a wave of his wand, a medium sized tent appeared in front of them. From the opening, a golden glow appeared. Shall we? He asked, leading her into the tent. Once inside, there was a square table with two chairs in the middle of the room. In the center of the table was a three candle candleholder. There was fine china set out for both chairs and wine glasses as well. There was a young man dressed in fine clothes waiting for the arrival. The magic you learn when you travel, Jack said, looking at her, trying to read her expression of what he’d created for their evening out.
