It was Saturday evening and Elena was wrapped in a towel, hair dripping wet and she only had an hour left to get ready. Elena had her dress, jewelery and shoes all laid out, she just needed to put them on, sort her hair and make up out and then she was ready to go. But she was bloody nervous. It had been a long time since she had been on a date and she just didn't trust herself not to make a fool of herself. Elena towel dried her hair, then added some moose before blow drying it so her hair feel in soft loose curls around her face. Thankfully it only took fifteen minutes to do her hair which is a miracle on her part. She pulled on her dress and then slipped her feet into her shoes, strapping them up. Elena put on her necklace and then put on her earrings. The only thing left was the make up. She didn't apply too much as she felt it would just make her look like a porn star, but she applied enough to highlight her features.

Elena was now ready, glancing at the clock she still had ten minutes before Dionysus was due to pick her up. Elena made her way to the living room of the house she shared with her college Serena and sat in the arm chair, twirling her hair nervously. She thought that she may get stood up, but atleast if she did she would be at home and not out in public looking like a dumb bitch being rejected. Elena glanced at the clock again, five minutes left. Elena got up and walked over to the wine cabinet, grabbing a bottle of red and a glass. She poured herself a glass of wine and took a sip. She needed something to calm her nerves.

Dionysus outfit

Dionysus looked in the mirror for a moment to assess his appearance. He looked really good tonight, but he was so nervous that he could see it in his eyes. He was worried this wouldn't go well..He tied his tie for a moment...making sure it sat perfectly against his shirt. He pulled on his jacket and headed to the foyer..where he left a beautiful arrangement of orange roses wrapped in a silver ribbon. He picked it up before disappearing in a loud pop.

He landed out side her house with a smile on his face. He checked his appearance once more and made sure the flowers looked perfect before he walked up to the door. He checked his breath once more and pop a mint in his mouth to be sure before he knocked nervously on the door. He stood back for a moment, waiting nervously for her to open the door for him. He really hoped the night would go well...that she would love the flower...and enjoy her night.

He took a deep breath as the door opened. Nervously biting his lip as it swung open.

As Elena finished off the glass of wine there was a knock at the door. She placed the empty glass on the table and walked over to the door. He had arrived, he hadn't stood her up and the date was now about to begin. Her stomach appeared to be doing flips, why on earth was she so nervous. Elena opened the door and put on a pretty smile that was hiding how nervous she was. However she wasn't expecting Dionysus to look even more gorgeous than he already did. Her eyes did a sweep of what he was wearing and for a minute she didn't notice the orange roses he was holding. "Hey. Come in."

[/color] She said opening the door more and allowing him into her home, or more so the home she shared with Serena who was probably busy with Alexander at the moment. She really needed to catch up with her and find out what was happening between them two.

As Elena closed the door her pet Anubis came running up the hallway, yapping like a crazed animal. He was totally harmless and probably looked like a pathetic excuse for a dog as it looked a little more like a cat but Elena loved him. He was great company always made her smile. Anubis ran up to Dionysus, sniffed him and then began wagging his tail like crazy while still yapping up at him. "This is Anubis, totally harmless, perhaps a little insane, but he appears to like you. I think he wants you to pick him up."[/color] Said Elena laughing a little.[/blockquote]
