Victor sat at his desk writing down notes to file while listening to music. He had requested that Kristen meet him to give him a status report on Durmstrang to see if everything was up to snuff. He was relieved when the new Headmaster Adonis had hired him without question. It was a sad state of affairs that the Headmaster Jayden had passed, but it was also suspicious. He had been on good terms with Jayden even though they didn't agree on certain views such as the Muggle Born integration. It was sad that most people saw muggleborns as a disease rather than a blessing. The continuing of magic was the goal for every Minister and this was the next step. When the former Minister stepped down, he saw Victor as the best candidate. So Victor couldn't fail him, when he got into office the first thing he did was check the records for muggle-born integration, the Durmstrang region was the only region that had not implemented the integration. Other ministries looked down on this ministry and he couldn't have that. He continued to scratch on the paper when he heard a knock on the door. He looked up as his assistant came in and said, Sir. The Head of Auror's office is here to see you. He nodded and said, Thank you. Send him in please. He gathered his papers and organized them before pulling out his wand to conjure up a nice arm chair and some refreshments. He looked up and greeted Kristen with a curt nod and a small smile.Hello Professor. Please do have a seat. Victor was on extremely good terms with Kristen because he understood the trials and pains it took to be an Auror. He respected Kristen because he took on the position after Victor left it.

Kristen had known the Minister of Magic for two two years now, since the day he took his job as auror when Victor moved up to Minister of Magic. He really respected the man...though he didn't get the chance to learn from him, he was told from other's that he was a fantastic auror in his time...Kristen had done all of his training with the British Ministry but when he had applied for the job of Head of the Auror department after Victor retired he had moved his whole life to Norway...that and he was escaping the personal life he left behind...including changing his first name from Castiel to Kristen, he had nothing now but his job and that was how it was gonna be...
He followed the Minister's assistant to his office and walked past him into the room...He smiled at the Minster as he nodded to him. Evening Minister. He said with a nod as he sat down in the chair provided for him. He leaned back with an straight posture. I do hope I find you well? He asked politely as he let his eyes travel across the room like he always did when he went anywhere....he had to grasp every detail just in case they would be important later on...

Victor smiled at Kristen, he rather liked the man, he could see so much of himself in Kristen and was always there to give Kristen a helping hand if he needed it. Evening Lynch. He noted that Kristen was looking around his office, as if he were trying to see every minute detail and nodded to himself. Oh I'm as well as a Bachelor can be. Have air in my lungs, a ministry to run. I'm good. And how about yourself? I see that you appear to be in good health. Victor was always curious on the well being of his fellow workers. Vic folded his hands and said, And how is Durmstrang? Anything suspicious to report, I mean the teachers can do what they please but if it involves the students we must take action. He pulled out two glasses and said, Would you care for some firewhiskey, a brandy, water? He pointed behind him at the wall of drinks he had, he had a little bit for everyone. He poured himself a water and leaned back in his chair. So Lynch have we found any leads on who murdered those two students? And is there any idea of what happened to Head Master Sage? How is his wife...or girlfriend or whatever handling it? He didn't feel guilty for suspecting the lady in the head masters life because when he was an Auror he learned to turn off the sympathy card due to the fact that any scenario would be possible in the death of anyone. He needed answers, the deaths of two students made him worry and the Wizengamot was beginning to talk about closing the school, Victor had managed to get them to be quiet about shutting the school down, but he also knew that he would need to find out who or what were killing the students and the head master.

Kristen smiled at him as he told him he was doing well and then asked about himself. He thought the question over for a moment as he tried to decide how he was. Sure everything in his life at the moment was well...but it could be better if she was there...He pushed that thought away for the bazillion times since she left and gave the minister small smile as he spoke, Healthy as always of course minister, I put my health above all other aspects in my life, except of course my profession sir. He said as he finally stopped examining the room and looked into the ministers eyes, Maybe you could find time to run with me one of these mornings sir? I see your still in good health as well and their are not many of my Aurors who are up to notch enough to keep up with me. That is, if you have time of course.. He asked with a smile.
Kristen watches as Victor folded his hands and knew of course that what he would next say was of more professional matters and needed even more of his attention then the light affair of personal health...He thought of what he said for a moment before answering, Water would be fine Minister...Durmstrang is as it always has been...such a dark and dreary school....Glad I didn't go to it in my youth...I couldn't imagine being among all the drama and the teenage angst I see at this school...Adonis holds a hard tight over them though...besides the tragedies in the past couple of months..his take over has been a good thing for the school...He is implementing new laws on the children.... The children are no longer allowed to leave the school grounds without his permission or on the Saturday boat trip to Vakkar, he says their free will to go as they please isn't good for them and he is putting and end to it...Which I do agree with it....the children should be allowed to leave school grounds unless the school is aware of it. He has also implemented a new curfew....the children of Enkelt Kanin must be in their common room by nine every night and the other students must be in their common rooms by eleven...I did question this inequality of this....but he shot me down with explanations of 'it's for their own good' which honestly may be right... the students are not very kind towards the muggleborns... I've broken up several fights already... I wish it was easy to change the mind of the children but unfortunately their coming from very prejudice homes so really all we can do for them is try our hardest to convince them tolerance and watch out for those who can't. He couldn't help but feel some annoyance at this...but what choice did they really have? It was impossible to force children to get along...and they couldn't take the free will from them without a revolt, they were going to believe as they were brought up...but it was a small step in the right direction, Unfortunately no leads yet as too who murdered the two children...As we have found though...one was a muggleborn and the other a 'blood traitor'...the girl's were best friends from what I've learned...and we're quite close regardless of all the drama their friendship caused...The first, as we know was found in the woods with severe bruises and and marks around her neck where she was asphyxiated...she was the blood traitor...the second murder was more brutal...the body had numerous knife wounds... dagger wounds to be exact...with a four inch blade from my examination of the body....their was also giant chunks ripped from the girl...she had a great deal of her eaten by some sort of beast...whether or not that creature is connected to the actual murder is yet to be determined...however, I have been playing close attention to the werewolves at the school as well as the registered Animagi just in case their is a connection...I had suspicions that Adonis may be connected with these murders some how since he is a werewolf and the death of the Headmaster benefited him....however, I research more into it and his alibi is rock solid unfortunately....The person who did this...was more than just a blood purist....he is a psychopath and a dangerous on at that...from the way the two girls were murdered....I can honestly say the person who did this got enjoyment out of it...He or she didn't just kill them to kill, they killed them because they enjoyed taking the two girls lives...The person must be found out soon... I feel as if this person see's it as a necessity...he or she is a serial killer...and in neither cases did they kill the girls with magic...they used brutal animal like means...I don't believe the girl's murders and the headmaster's are connected....they don't match up and have to many differences...I also find Bella Gaunt or Sage as she has recently changed her name to be rather curious...she is torn up about it but also skittish of my presence...I quite wonder if she had something to do with his demise or if she knows who did....I have also heard that the girl is pregnant with Jayden's child...There is much work to be done with that case... He said with a sigh... I do know though....that Adonis isn't very fond of our goals for the school and their is rumors he plans on moving the entire school else where if we force any more of our views on them....I wouldn't believe it was possible if he wasn't the heir of the school...I have however, seen many hopeful things since being their...intermingling between the muggleborns and students is occurring...though small and few it is a promise of change.. He sighed at this....He was quite for a moment...and then remembered something of more of a lighter note..On a better note, I have recently found my prodigy within the school...he hold such promise and reminds me of myself when I was young....He is excelling in all of his classes...except the dark arts but I have found he chooses to do horrible in this for the mere fact that it go against his beliefs... All of his Professors in other subjects find his work to be remarkable. He is timid at best, but he holds such promise that I have decided to take him under my wing. Kasper Seaward will make an amazing Auror some day...I have started putting him through intense training and he has already surpassed my hope for him. I may have to fear for my job someday. He chuckled slightly at this, He doesn't believe in himself unfortunately, but I am determined to put confidence inside his head. He said taking a drink of the water the Minister had given him.

Victor nodded when Kristen said he was quite healthy, Good, good. He murmured as he leaned forward resting his chin on his knuckles. When Kristen invited him to run with him he chortled and said, I would be honored to run with you. I remember hardly any of the Aurors in my day could keep up with me either, it would be nice to run with someone who could keep up. He sipped his water and then said, As the Minister, one learns to make time for everything in one's life. Be it running, or trying to find long lost relatives...I make do. Just set a day and time and I'll make it work for both of us. He smiled again and turned his attention to the less pleasant topics that they were to discuss. He pulled out a goblet, and his wand then he murmured, Augamenti and water shot out of the tip of his wand into the goblet, he handed it to Kristen while he gave his report. He chortled again and said, You should be glad, it was dreary in my days as well, I was one of the first half-bloods that was allowed into the school. Of course we all had to say we were pure-bloods back then. When I was in my 6th year I came out of the proverbial blood closet. Needless to say, it wasn't very pleasant. He reflected on what had happened when he had come out as being a half blood, he had been beaten by his so called friends and almost killed. He nodded again and said, If only the head master's of Durmstrang took tips from Dumbledore or even Madame Maxine back in their glory days. The students at Hogwarts and Beauxbaton are privileged but have a respect for their boundaries, well at least most of them do. Most of these students at Durmstrang run amok about the wizarding world. I'm glad to hear that Headmaster Stark is implementing new laws for the school, maybe it will knock some sense into the ones who cause the drama. He stood up and walked to his enchanted window he looked out and placed his hands behind his back and said, These students...well the Pure-blood ones are now being thrust into a world where they have to mingle with lesser blood as they have been raised to believe that they alone are the superior might of the world. My mother was raised like that but fell in love with a muggle born, her parent's banished her to live with him...She did so without qualm but I still hear her crying when I go to visit her. He turned his head back and looked at Kristen, These are hard times for all, the pure bloods are being put into check, the muggle borns are being tortured, bullied and killed, and the half bloods are stuck in the middle not knowing where to turn or who to side with. I can imagine why there is so much animosity and angst for all parties involved, even some of the professors are needing to adjust. It was a sad state of affairs but it was the truth, many people don't admit defeat easily and this was one of those scenarios. He sighed and turned from where he was standing back to his chair and sat back down. He nodded when Kristen said there were no leads, he had thought as much. He had seen the first murder victim and had read the reports on the second and nodded. The first was a blood traitor but her murder was not as calculated as the second one it seems, or the reason why she wasn't mutilated was because she was not a muggle born and deserved dignity. He looked Kristen in the eyes and said, We must think and calculate as the killer would in order to move forward with these cases. Are we sure that they are linked? I mean other than them being friends. After all both murder styles were different, Could they be the same killer or killers? He then listened to Kristen talk about the werewolves and animagi and nodded, I don't think it is werewolves...they are just trying to live their lives...most of them have turned their backs on their old ways, Fenir Greyback was the worst. I've managed to screen all the wolves, they seem to have normal backgrounds. However good thinking keeping an eye on them. He leaned back in his chair and continued to listen. He nodded when Kristen mentioned Isabella Gaunt and said, Quite Curious...well as I have always said, 'Everyone is guilty until proven innocent.' Trust no one. Triple check alibis if you have to. He nodded and said, The Starks have always been a proud family...it's quite understandable that they would threaten to move the school, however, they would be in contempt and I would be forced to send a task force out to find them. Then the school could be removed from their power if the paperwork is done in the right channels. Times are changing Kristen, its time that the school changes as well. He sipped his water thoughtfully. He grinned at the change of topic, Excellent. The more students that are being mentored by the ministry is a step in the right direction. I am mentoring one myself. A fine young man named Aydin Bennett. He is quite ambitious, and has the makings of a top Auror. He nodded, As long as you keep mentoring him...he will believe in himself. Otherwise he wouldn't be worth it.
