Working on the hospital wing was extremely tiring. Elena loved working their though. It meant that she could help and care for people. Knowing she was making just a little bit of a difference or relieving someone of any discomfort was actually quite fulfilling for her. Most nights after her shift she would come up to the West Tower and gaze up at the stars. It was extremely relaxing after a long day working. Elena liked astronomy. There were so many constellations and also there were stories about them. It was odd to think that stars could have stories, but it was very interesting. When Elena first came here she had applied to be the Astronomy professor, but at the time, the job was taken. So she took the job of being the school nurse. A couple years later the job opened up, but Elena was happy where she was, so she turned down the offer.

It was a little odd that she would turn down the job that was originally her dream job but this was now what she wanted to do and where she wanted to be. As long as she was happy that was all that mattered right. Elena hadn't even realised it but an owl had come and landed on the barrier she was leaning on. She only really noticed it when it poked her shoulder with it's beak. Elena jumped a little but smiled when she saw it was her fathers owl. It must have been weird, an owl flying through Cairo. Elena took the note from it's leg and began reading it. It was all in ancient Egyptian, which Elena could read. The owl took off, probably heading towards the owlery. Elena would respond to her fathers message tomorrow. She tucked the note in her pocket and turned her attention back towards the stars, thinking of home. God she missed her family.

Dionysus came up the stairs of the west tower, he hadn't done a watch there tonight and he though he probably should before heading to bed...the student's here were worse than any school he had ever seen...they were rude, sexual and most racists with something to prove. Their little attitudes towards the muggleborn's really pissed him off....which is why he took the Enkelt Kanin Head of House when it had opened up...to protect the children their....he had been the reason why the school had been forced to open the doors to the muggleborns...he had worked so hard with the Minister of Magic to force the school to allow the muggles in...but with the three deaths at the school he found it a personal reason to join the staff....he wanted to keep a look out...and be sure to make sure to let the minister know of any leads he could find to the murders...

As he walked up the top of the stairs and went through the observation door, where he was sure to find kids disobeying curfew to make out...but that's not what he found, he smiled as he noticed the pretty nurse he had been keeping a close eye on since he started a few weeks back looking up at the stars...He approached her slowly so he wouldn't startle her, Hello there, Miss Massri right? He asked with a warm voice as he came walked up beside her.

Elena had had a rather busy day, there was a student who was only weeks away from giving birth so there was alot of preparation going on. Like making sure they had right equipment, because the student had wanted to do it naturally. Being a witch you would have thought she would have wanted to use magic, but no, she wanted to do it naturally and Elena wasn't surprised at all. If she were in her situation she would want a natural birth aswell. Elena wasn't nervous though. She had delivered a few babies in her time. From professors of course. There isn't too many students here who are pregnant. Infact, Elena was aware that there was only one. At the moment. Elena pushed that thought out of her head. She didn't come up here to think about work, she came up her to relax and relax was what she was going to do.

The door opened with a soft and low creak, but Elena didn't turn around. She didn't think she was in danger, plus she was good with a wand if someone was to attack her. A warm voice, from beside her spoke and as she turned she smiled, knowing who it was straight away. He was the head of Enkelt Kanin and big on muggleborn rights. Elena supported him. She didn't see why they should be treated differently just because of their blood. He was also very cute, so he definitely had her interest from when he first started working here. "Yeah, but you can call me Elena."

[/color] She said with a sweet smile and extended her hand for him to shake. "Your Dionysus Pierce Svenningsen right? Head of Enkelt?"[/color] Like she didn't know. When she first saw him she asked the nearest professor who he was and they had filled her in. She definitely had wanted to get to know him better, but her nerves had got the best of her. Now he was here talking to her, finally her waiting had paid off.[/blockquote]

Dionysus smiled back at her and took her hand in his when she went offered it to shake...instead of shaking her hand he lifted her hand to his lips...and gently kissed the back of her hand softly with a smile. He lowered her hand and said, Well then...Elena..where are you from..your accent is exquisite but beyond my knowledge of accents...Yes, my name is Dionysus...Head of Enkelt House and the muggle studies professor...I am also the Head of the Muggles Rights and Advancement Department with the Ministry.

He said with a deep smile as he looked her over...she was truly beautiful...her skin had a gorgeous sun kissed glow that he admired...What brings you out here? Wondering if she was looking to alone or if she was just looking to gaze upon the stars..

It took her by surprise when he kissed her hand instead, but it wasn't something she minded. Back in Egypt if he had done that in public he probably would have been thrown in jail. Seriously, they needed to calm down over there. When he released her hand, it was still tingling slightly from the touch of his lips. "Egypt, Cairo to be exact. I lived in Geezer(sp) for the first few years of my life but moved to Cairo and lived there until I was eighteen." She said looking up into his dark brown eyes. Elena smiled as he confirmed his name and then listed his responsibilities which was rather alot actually, but still she was impressed. "Sounds like you have alot on you plate Dionysus. How do you find the time to stay ontop of all your work?" She asked with a cute smile, and biting her bottom lip a little.

His gaze swept over her, Elena just kept her eyes on his. As he looked back at her, he asked why she was out here. There wasn't a reason. Just something she liked to do before she headed to her room for the night, maybe even have a fly around. Elena shrugged a little before answering Dionysus' question. "No reason really. I just like the stars. " She said casually. "How come your up here?" She asked, returning his question.

Dionysus smiled at her when she said she was from Cairo, Egypt, I've never been there myself...It seems like it would be such a lovely place to travel though...I'm in need of a tan. He joked with a grin on his face. How old are you know if you don't mind me asking? He said looking into her eyes...she was young but he wasn't sure just how young she was...

He grinned when she said it sounded like he had a lot on his plate, It's not that much...keeps me busy for the most part...but I like the work and the challenge...It's easy to stay on top of my work...I just refuse to be anything except for ahead of the game. He said with a chuckle.

He grinned, The stars are very beautiful...they show your beauty well...if you don't mind me saying. He said with a small smile, I didn't come here for the stars though...I was checking to make sure no students were up here...it's past curfew for them.. He said honestly.

As he spoke about Egypt, she was reminded of home. She loved it there and would like to move back there, some day. Maybe when she was retired. It would be nice to live there with her husband. It was such an amazing country that held such an interesting past, a past that she was actually apart of. She kept that secret though, only telling people she trusted. Even then it was a little hard for her. For some reason knowing she was some form of royalty kind of made it awkward for her to have close friends or relationships. "I think you look pretty good as you do now, but maybe I can show you around sometime."

[/color] She said, flirting maybe just a little. He then randomly asked how old she was, it was a odd question to ask suddenly but there was probably a reason as to why he was asking. "Twenty three. how old are you?"[/color] Asked Elena, returning the question.

He sounded rather determined and in control. Elena found that....... abit sexy if she was honest with herself. She liked a man who was very driven and Dionysus seemed to fit that box perfectly. "You seem very driven."[/color] Said Elena with a slight flirty smile spreading across her lips.

Dionysus then gave her a compliment that made her blush. She smiled shyly and looked down as she nervously bit her bottom lip and laughed a little. She needed to get her nerves under control and what better way to do that than to come back with a joke. "Oh well that's good because in daylight I look hideous."[/color] She said laughing a little. He told her that he was patrolling, making sure no one was out after curfew. "Want some company patrolling?"[/color] She asked casually.[/blockquote]

Dionysus smiled at her and looked around, Your talking about me are you? I think you must be mistaken then....surely there is far more attractive men than I? He teased her with a grin. Sure, he knew he was attractive but he couldn't help but be bashful about it, You make me feel so old...I'm twenty-seven years old actually. Quite a bit older than yourself. He said thoughtfully looking up into the sky...

He smiled as he looked back into her eyes, Yes...I suppose you could call me driven. The way I am has gotten my very far for my age...so I do say this is a good thing. He told her...

He laughed slightly at her joke, Well now...that is something I know better than to believe....no woman as stunning as you would be disgraced by the sun's presence...I'm sure it only amplifies your beauty.. He told her with a small smile, he held out his arm for her to grab it, To have a beauty like you beside me on my watch would be such...an honor. He told her with a sweet smile.

Elena laughed a little at his teasing as if he wasn't aware at first that she was talking about him. "Not to me."

[/color] She said. It was actually kind of a bold thing for her to say. But to her he was the most attractive guy she had seen around here. That may have been why it had taken her so long for her to talk to him. Well actually he approached her. If he hadn't she would probably still be admiring him from afar. Elena wasn't surprised when he told her his age. She was probably one of the youngest members of staff at Durmstrang and she kind of liked that, being the baby. "Your as young as you feel and your not old. You still got your whole life ahead of you."[/color] Said Elena still giving him her dazzling smile.

It was true, he accomplished so much and at such a young age aswell. It was very impressive. God knows what he would have done or got by retirement age. It was alittle overwhelming to think about actually, but in a good way. "Oh yeahs it's definitely a good thing. You've achieved so much already. Imagine how much you could achieve in another five or even ten years time."[/color] Said Elena with a smirk, a kind of suggestive one actually.

Elena blushed an unattractive shade of red as he spoke about her beauty. It was a good thing it was dark otherwise she would look like a beetroot right about now. Elena looked towards the ground, smiling nervously as she brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'll let you be the judge of that."[/color] She said as a cute giggle escaped her mouth. When Elena looked back up at him, his arm was extended. Elena's smile grew as he spoke and she linked her arm with his. "Please it would be an honor to accompany and handsome and charming man such as yourself tonight."[/color] She said with a soft smile.[/blockquote]

Dionysus grinned at her, Let me be the judge of that? Hmm...that does sound like your suggesting I see you in the day sometime...I think I'll take advantage of that then and take you up on your offer. He told her as he looked into her eyes, I know better than to let such an inviting with such a glamorous women slip by me. He whispered slightly seductively but he pushed it off with a charming smile.

As she linked arms with his, he couldn't help but grin brilliantly back at her, Darling the pleasure is mine...the honor is my own. He told her with a sweet grin as they began to walk...Forgive me for being so bold but I must ask this before I lose my chance...there is a ball this New Years...and I am without a date...would a gorgeous and eloquent woman like yourself be willing to attend the ball with me? He asked her with a sweet smile.

Elena smiled again, a proper smile and laughed a little. "Ok well if your not horrifically scared by what you see in the day, maybe I'll let you buy me dinner some time."

[/color] She said cheekily and winked. Ok, the flirting was getting outrageous now. It was clear that they were both attracted to each other. Elena didn't mind he was being so forward and it seemed that Dionysus didn't mind that she was being forward to. Elena bit her lip slightly as he whispered to her, seductively. She kind of just wanted to grab him, but she would control herself until a later date. Elena melted a little, alot actually when he gave her his charming smile. Elena was surprised that he wasn't already taken.

He then asked her to the new years ball, as his date. Elena's smile grew. Of course she wanted to go with him. She was worried she may have to drop major hints that she wanted him to ask her, or the fact that she may have missed her chance and he had already asked someone else to go with him. "I'd love to attend the ball with you."[/color] She said, smiling up at him. She placed her free hand over his as they walked down the corridors. Elena had no idea where they were going and she didn't care. "I'm actually surprised you haven't been taken already."[/color] Said Elena, turning her attention back to him.[/blockquote]

Dionysus smiled at her with a big charming grin on his face as he stared into her eyes. I would love to buy you dinner sometime. How about soon? Maybe..after Christmas break? He asked with a sweet smile. He really liked the idea of taking her out to a fancy dinner where he could spend time wooing her. He liked the idea of a candle light dinner and a ballroom dance. He mentally let his mind wonder into these plans...wondering if she would have her breath taken away from the night he was planning in his head...he sure hoped so.

He smiled back at her, Eh...well, there were a few women to come calling on me..hoping I would take them...but I guess I'm picky. He said with a small laugh and then gave her a small hug..., I'm so happy you will be attending with me. He said with a grin. He would have to get with his wardrobe adviser to find the perfect ball outfit...he wondered how perfect the two of them would look together...she certainly would be an excellent prize on his arm. All of his co-workers were sure to be jealous.

His smile was amazing. It made her go weak at the knees. Elena couldn't help but smile back. Clearly he was happy that she had agreed to go on a date with him. After the Christmas break sounded good. There was so much going on at the moment that getting ready for a date was not what she needed right now. She was still Christmas shopping for her family and friends, helping with the Christmas ball. Then there was her actual work, so yes a date after Christmas would be good. "After the Christmas break sounds great."

[/color] Elena was quite excited to be going on a date with Dionysus. She had no idea what to expect, whether he was the type of guy to go all out and take her breath away or just take a girl to a bar for a few drinks. Either way sounded good if it meant getting to know Dionysus more. She just needed to know the dress code, perhaps she would ask him closer to the time.

Elena smiled and laughed a little as Dionysus said he was picky. She didn't know if that was true or not but she was sure to find out soon enough. Elena was a little surprised as he hugged her, but she hugged him back. The hug broke and Elene looked up at him in his deep brown eyes. She imagined what it would be like to attend to ball with him, amazing most likely. He seemed like a total gentleman and seemed like he knew how to treat a girl. Elena was looking forward to the ball now and couldn't wait to stun Dionysus with what she would wear.[/blockquote]
