I'm trapped in an hourglass

Jayden sat on the ground of the field between one of the lakes and Durmstrang quietly. His eyes were closed as he listened to the birds in the trees singing their songs....they were starting to gather he was sure to leave for the winter, they'd be gone by October he was sure of it. He loved the sound of them...everywhere he traveled he liked to just sit outside and listen to the sound of the birds of the country singing the true song of the lands. It was beautiful...He could hear the flutter of wings as owl wings fluttered above him and then landed on his shoulder...he didn't open his eyes to the gorgeous copper colored owl on his shoulders...but he lifted a hand up and stroked the feathers gently.
Jayden lifted his head up and opened the eyes as she left him...his eyes watching her soar across the sky like a gorgeous predator...She was so beautiful...He watched as her form disappeared behind the clouds...He stood up quietly as he could feel the vibrations of footsteps on the grass toward him. Students were coming finally...

Shaylyn walked across the grassy fields on her way to Apparations in a happier mood than normal (if that was even possible. It was a beautiful day (she actually didn’t have to wear a jacket today), the birds were singing and they actually got to be outside for class. She had never had any desire to learn apparation until recently. She was getting close to coming of age and she needed a way to travel by herself that wasn’t flying on a broom, because she hated heights. She had side-along apparated a couple of times with her father and brother, and she didn’t enjoy the feeling, but this was something she probably needed to do.
As she approached the Professor, it looked as the though she was the first student in class. She didn’t mind, as she had met Professor Sage when her brother brought her in to register and he seemed like a nice man; like he really cared about teaching his students and making sure they understood what he taught. Hello Professor Sage. She said with her usual cheery smile. She looked up at the sky again as a cool breeze blew across her face, blowing her hair around in a relaxing way. Today really was a gorgeous day, and she just expected it to get better.

 Apparations was something Kirilee had always been interested in, but had never had the chance to experience. Growing up in the muggle world, with muggle parents, she never had the chance to side-along apparate like most magical children did at least every so often. When they needed to travel, they took normal muggle transportation like planes or cars or trains. She had only recently showed her parents the wonders of Floo Powder when on their last trip to Diagon Alley before she transferred to Durmstrang. They were amazed by how fast they arrived at their destination, but they figured they would stick to more simple transportation that they actually understood.
Kirilee really wanted to learn apparation for the simple fact that it was faster and she hated that it took hours upon hours to get to places she wanted to be if she took muggle transportation. As she approached the place where apparation class was to take place, she shuddered as she saw who taught it. Headmaster Sage didn’t seem like a plesent person when her parents brought her to register. He actually seemed like one of the main muggleborn haters in the school, and if that were so, she was going to have a hard time learning anything. "Afternoon Professor." She said with the nicest smile she could muster, her bright red hair flowing in the wind. WORDS?!232

There wasn't much Cayden didn't know about magic very little that he hadn't mastered yet....except apparations. He hadn't given it a chance or even cared about it until recently. He was into the idea of the long journeys it took on a broom to get somewhere...and he really hated the idea of only traveling when his brother wanted him to apparate with him. He had been to Germany, Italy, and North America with his brother....but he wanted to go to so many other places...next summer he was suppose to go with his brother to stay in his castle in France....It would be awesome...but he wanted to see more. He knew Shaylyn would be in the class so it would be really an adventure and learning experience with her.
He walked to where the class was taking place on the Durmstrang Plenene. Cayden smiled as he walked up and nudged Shaylyn slightly, Jayden He said with a huge smile towards the Professor...Jayden and Adonis had been close friends since school so naturally Jayden and Cayden had grown pretty close....

Apparations was one of the only useful classes Artemis had, and he enjoyed it. He knew it would be very handy when he left Durmstrang. He walked down the halls looking at his time. He was going to be late if he didn't hurry up. He walked at a quicker pace and walked outside towards where the class was being held. He noticed a few people already there including the professor, he had hoped he wasn't missing anything important just yet. He walked up quickly and stood next to Cayden nodding to him. He then looked to the headmaster and nodded his head slowly hoping he wasn't late. "Hello Professor" was all he said. He crossed his arms and stood still waiting for the professor to start teaching them. He hoped the class would hold something interesting for the day and wouldn't be just pure lecture.

Jayden smiled at Shaylyn as she entered....nodded politely at the mud blood who came soon after and then grin at the following two students...Cayden and Artemis being two of his favorite students at the school, regardless of their bad behavior sometimes...they reminded him of himself and Adonis when they were young students. He smirked at the class, Welcome to Apparations class. I am quite sure everyone is here...it's a small class as to be expected...not many dare to try the art....the idea of splintering turns most away in a hurry...but to you few that stand before me....well you are the brave ones aren't you? or should I say..the unlucky ones? This class is not for the faint heart...only the best will master the art...the worst..may find themselves spending a lot of time with the new nurse Kasey Stark.. He said smirking with a slight glance towards the mud blood in the group..he really doubted whether she'd survive more than a few classes and he really thought it would be funny to see her fail horribly....If she managed to pass...he would be surprised completely, Saying that...Let me remind you...there will be no rule breaking in this class...no goofing off or lack of attention....I will not tolerate it and will punish you brutally for it...To those who need extra help I will offer outside help, but you must be on time and ready to go as soon as your come it for it...That being said...have any of you ever apparated with an adult before today?
He waited quietly for them to answer...Grab a piece of my arm... I find that our current location is not my style...today we will be having class in the tropics a beach to be exact... He held his arms out waiting for them to grab him before closing his eyes....

Shaylyn had noticed the red haired girl walk up right after she did and she smiled politely, rather fascinated by her choice in hair color. She was a bit startled when someone nudged her when she wasn’t expecting it, but when she saw that it was Cayden, she couldn’t help but smile. She forgot he was going to be in this class, so it was a nice surprise when she saw him. After everyone had shown up, even though it was basically only the 4 students there, the professor started the lesson. She really hoped she was good enough to learn apparation because it really was annoying only going places when her brother wanted to, although she was afraid she might leave part of her behind somewhere. This was not a subject to be scared in, however, so she needed to brush away those fears and just tell herself that she would do great. Professor Sage seemed like he was going to be a tough professor, so hopefully she never got on his bad side because that just wouldn’t be a pleasant time. He asked the class if they had ever apparated before. I have before, with my brother and father. She said with a smile. She took his arm when he asked them too and waited for them to go to their new destination.

Kirilee had a feeling, even from when she first walked up to the class, that this was going to be a really annoying class for her. Not only was the teacher a muggleborn hater, but she was probably going to be the only one in the class that had never even apparated with an adult before. Her parents didn’t apparate of course, because they were muggles, but everyone here was most likely pureblooded so they probably had dozens of chances to apparate before today. Professor Sage began his lecture and Kiri listened carefully, not wanting to miss anything for future reference. This was probably going to be one of the easiest classes to get in trouble in so just to be on the safe side, she was going to be on her absolutely best behavior because she didn’t want to get kicked out of the class for any reason whatsoever. Finally the question came, if they had ever apparated before. The girl who was the first to show up said that she had, and Kirilee had to embarrassingly follow with Nope, never. However, after everyone had answered, the professor expressed the need for a new location so they were going to apparate to the beach. This would be an adventure on its own, so she took his arm when it was offered and waited. WORDS?!226

Cayden nodded as Jayden asked if they had ever Apparated before today. Of course he had...he had apparated time an time again with both Jayden and Adonis. He smirked as the mudblood mentioned she had never done it before...of course she had never done it before...she was nothing but a filthy mudblood. He made sure to give her a nice little glare to let her know that she didn't belong anywhere near him and too the opposite arm that she did...He hated the idea of her touching him. He glanced away and couldn't help but wonder silently how big she would mess up if he convinced her to try it herself. Maybe she would split herself in two....He smirked to himself at the idea of it...if he hadn't already taken Jayden's other arm...he wouldn't of stood next to the mudblood just to make her lose her grin during the apparation...maybe she would of been diced by the action...He couldn't help but enjoy the scenario in his head as he waited for Arty to join them so they could get going, he would have to mention it to him later. He would be sure to find the idea funny as hell.

Kyle new he was running late. He had slept in and he didn't mean too. He missed his alarm and looked at the time. It had been the first day since he had been back and he didn't want to be late for the head master's class. He didn't want to get on his bad side at all. But, now he had been screwed. "Damn it Kyle." He said to himself. He hurried up and hopped out of bed, hoping they were still in class. He had heard some stories about the professor's class. He put on a pair of black straight legged jeans and a black shirt and fixed his hair. He wasn't trying to impress anyone he just wanted to be himself.
He rushed off to class and hurried up as fast as he could. He yawned when he had gotten to the class room and saw all of them still there and walked in. He looked at Mr. Sage with a worried face. "I'm sorry professor I'm late. I slept through my alarm. It's my first day back. I promise I won't be late again." He saw the rest of the kids were grabbing on his arm. They were probably aparating somewhere and he did the same and grabbed apart of his arm as well. |

He had walked to the class thinking he was going to be late, but he really wasn't to late at all. He went and stood next to Cayden listening to Jayden introduce them to the class and explain the repercussions of everything. He smirked slightly, being somewhat over confident that he would be perfectly fine in this class. He looked over at the mud-blood knowing she would probably fail. It would be quite funny to see her just get cut up from one failed attempt, but then again he wasn't all that mean, he would eventually feel bad. He looked to Jayden again and shook his head no to his question. He had never apparated with his parents, he usually just let them go and buy they needed without him. He walked forward and grabbed his arm as he commanded them too. He looked over at Cayden for a moment then towards the mud-blood. He figured what Cayden was thinking, how funny it would be if she accidentally let go mid Apparation. It would be pretty funny, but he would never let off that he would SOMEWHAT feel bad. He smirked slightly and just waited for Jayden to apparate them away
((sorry for the shit post, im trying to muster up my muse so Im just starting with classes and it didn't seem like I had to post much here))
