Knox sat at the edge of his bed with his head rested on his knees waiting for Deia to arrive for the night. He hated to have her go off...even for the moment but he knew that she had to get a shower and get ready for bed. She would be there soon enough...but the anticipation of her returning back in his arms was driving him insane. He absentmindedness played with the threads of the blanket near his hand as he waited for her to come...knowing that if she was late even for a second that he would burst through the door in the direction of the bathroom to go looking for her...

He had heard rumors that they had been shadowed the first couple of days back by someone watching them...and this irritated him to know ends...He sighed as he stared at the door...waiting for the handle to turn like it was the key to all of his answers...he bit his lip and stood up...pacing across the room several times...the waiting was driving him mad...she could be in danger....he bit his lip and turned for the door just as it opened...

Something had been bugging her since they returned to school and Deianira could not place her finger on it. Well for one Unwyn Lestrange was in a coma and nobody knew who did it and she made a bet his brother thought she had a hand in it. Well she did not but she was not sorry the boy was in a coma in her mind that was karma bitting him in the ass. She ahd on her pink and whit pajama set and was waking from the bathrooms after taking a shower with her robe and slippers on.Everytime there was a bump or sound she did jump but just to be safe her wand was clutched in her right hand. Suddenly behind her she heard aloud thud and just made the choice to run as fast as she could through the hall open the doot to the prefects dorms and run up the stairs.Deianra had all but lived there full time since she came back from school. After Knox heard about the attack he had grown more peotective over her and she was happy for it because right now the scared girl did not like being alone. She stopped just outside his door and collect herself because the last thing Dieanira wanted to do was worry Knox even more, she placed her hand on the door knob to his room and turned it as she pushed the door open and walked in with a smile. Good evening there my love. She told him as she placed her wand back in her robe pocked and then removed the robe tossing it over a chair as she could see the worry on his face. Deianira walked over ti the edge of the bed and sat down beside Knox. Sweetie I can see the worry on your face and I am happy you are here to protect me and I thank you for letting me stay in your room with you. I feel safest when I have you around. That was the truth when Knox was around she felt ike nothing could get to her that her life was in the most safest of hands.Her right hand reached out and took his in hers as she raised it to her lips and kissed it.

Knox smiled at her as she opened the door and came in. He watched as she pocketed her wand in her robe and then through the robe off and then tossed it over the chair. His face finally softened as she spoke, he wasn't sure if everything was alright but here she was safe with him. He would protect her. He grinned happily as she took his hand and kissed it. He smiled and pulled her closer to him and then kissed her on the lips. He ran a hand through her hair with a grin as he pulled away.

He gave her a smile, I'm happy to be the hands that protect you every day. It's all I ever want to do Deianira. You have my promise that I will always have my door open for you. He whispered, Like my heart... He said with another grin, Can I ask you something in hopes that you won't laugh at me or think I'm silly or that I've lost my mind or whatever... He said softly with nervousness in his face.

She could while sitting next to him that there was somehting on Knox's mind that he was not all here at the moment. Her body got a little shiver as they shared a soft kiss and she wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned into it. Then the kiss was broken and she sat back but still close go him on the bed as she smiled back trying not to show that little bit of fear thar caused her to run back to his dorm room. You know you can ask me anything Knox and I wont think you silly. I love you and what is it what do you want to ask me?/ The vacation time they spent together had brought them that much closer ot made her feel anything was psssible because now in a way she had a family that loved her and had invited her back that and well she was not a virgin anymore and it did her heart good to know she had waited for the right person.

I had the greatest of times over vacation getting to know you and your family. They are great people and made me feel so welcome. She commented wondering what more he had to say what this question was. Things had become a little intense around school with the greay Unwyn mystery and someone how those eyes of his brother alwyas seemed to be upoon her but no she placed thoughts of them out of her head as right now it was just her and Knox the young man she loved the young man she loved spending time with. Her own family had sent maybe one letter while she was gone but it was just to say dont embarrass them and she better not mess up thos relationship with someone of an important family she burned their letter not caring what they had to say. She reached over and held his right hand in hers and looked into his eyes wondering.

Knox smiled at her with a nervous grin across his face, I've been thinking about things between us...all the wonderful things and I've had this thought. I mean its not a big deal. If you were to say no...well yea I would get it. I totally wouldn't take it personal...I...uh... He said with a few stutters...his voice very shaky as he spoke, Well...I mean we are half way through the year now...and I have this terrible dread that I'm not going to see you very much next year because you'll be graduated...and I'll be stuck here in Durmstrang... He sighed, I can bare the thought..of not having this with you...it makes me upset to think about it. He squeezed her hand in his and looked into her eyes, Move in with me. Let's build a house...from the ground up...I have more than enough money to do it...we could have rooms built the way we want them... paint the house in a million colors...furniture...whatever you want. Just....let's do this, what do...you...uhh think? He asked her with a nervous smile.

How nervous he was made her laugh,Deianira found Knox so cute when he was all flustered and could not talk. Knox sweetie it is alright now just take it slow breathe in and out a few times you will be fine. She could not help but laugh and wondered what he was up to what on earth could make him this nervous to talk to her about?Her eyes got real wife when Knox mentioned them not only moving in together but having a house custom built for the two of them. She did not knw what to say at first. She too had begun to worry what would happen after she graudated because Deianira did not want to go home. Oh my god Knox sweetie I ummm oh wow. She was shocked and did not know what to say this gesture was a lot it was a big move fot them.


I was getting so soo nervous with graduation coming and the thought of not having you by my side amost made me sick. Without you I am empty and feel like nothing. I would love nothing more then to live with you and be by your side and visit you when I can. I hate the thought of not seeing you everyday but if I get you on weekends and vacations I am happy. To hell with my family they wont miss me. She said with excitement as Deianira tossed her arms around Knox's neck and pulled him right into a tight and loving hug. She gently kissed his ears and sighed a bit of relief.Now he future was being set and going into a direction she was happy with. Knox was her workd and her future and she knew there would be no objection from his family but her family would be a different story just ti be jerks they could make issues but nope right now they would not ruin this moment she was happy in the arms of the man she loved.

Knox waited nervously for her to answer and as she spoke he held on to the edge of his bed nervously gripping for life. Hoping she would just say yes. As she finished he stared into her eyes for a moment...stunned by her answer and in complete disbelief.

As she wrapped her arms around him and kissed his ears a smile crept across his face, I'm so happy you said yes. He whispered as he kissed her neck. Then he kissed her forehead and said, I was so scared you would say no. He whispered, I can't wait to start building it...I mean where do we want to make our home at? Where should we look for building grounds at? He said with a grin, Of course...close as possible. He said with a smile, I can't have you to far away. You need to be close as possible. He said with a grin. He really couldn't help but be excited about all of this...Gosh...how much land do we want? he said thoughtfully.

He was so nervous and to her Knox was being so cute because what else would she say? What else would I say silly. You are my heart and my soul Knox. I lovr you so much and dont want to be away from you and when I graduate that will suck but I will be close I wont go too far. She told him as Deianira placed a small sof kiss upon his lips and looked into his eyes with a smile. Her future was really comming together before she never would have dremed of having such a life but now here she was with someone she loved very much planning out a future that was no dream and was very real. We will have such a great life you and I and a bright future. As long as I have you then everything is alright I am safe and nobody can ever touch me again.

She excliamed as Deianira once more pulled Knox into a tight hug as just for a moment she started to think back to what happened before the holiday when she got caught in the halls by the Lestrange brothers and the unthinkable almost happened. The attack was something very few knew about and she wanted to keep it that way because the last thing she needed or wanted was to have her parents find out and then have them blame the whole thing on her. Knox and his brother and her parents were her family now her own blood didnt want her and she was fine with that. I dont care how big the house or the land is as long as I have we can live in a cottage for all I care as long as I have you then everything is good. She told him as Deianira laid her head on his shoulder and nuzzled his neck.

Knox smiled at her, As long as your by my side...my life will be beyond perfect. He told her, I'm so excited to spend my life with you. He smiled as she lightly kissed his lips. He smiled as she nuzzled into his neck, A cottage? Not a mansion or something larger in your head? He asked curiously. He had expected high expectations from her but she always managed to surprise him. So like a nice cottage in the forest perhaps? Where we can be tucked away from society and snuggle up in our cottage by the fire? He said with a smile...

He took her hands in his and kissed her nose sweetly, I already told my parents of my plans..they are a bit nervous about the idea but they give us their consent. He said with a smile, Gotta admit though...I had to beg a little for their blessing. Mom is such a stickler on marriage before living together...I had to promise to her that what is between you and I is real and will someday head in that direction. He said with a wink.

The cottage reference was a joke silly goose.I was trying to say it did not matter where I lived as long as I had you by my said.To be honest I would like something a little bigger a nice size with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and a ballroom for parties a grand kitchen and a pool oh yes a pool. She told Knox as Deianira still held onto him but sat back a bit to look into his eyes. She knew deep down inside of her heart that someday Deia would be able to walk down the isle and become his wife and so what if they did things in a different order then other because her and Knox were happy and that was all that mattered to her and to him.

He was so kind and so loving that Deianira still thought he was too good for her that having such love in her life wa still beyound her thoughts. They may need to talk to my wardens opsie my parents because as much as they dont care for me they wont be happy that I am moving in with you before we are married.They dont care about how I will look they care how it looks to others upon them their daughter isnt married but living with someone.I dont want anything to mess us up. She said looking at him with some worry coming across her face. They had to know she was happy and they ahd to know that seperating her and Knox would destroy her. There was no love loss between Deianira and her parents and she did not care for her future was now filled with happiness.

Knox smirked at her as she said she was joking, Well then a how about a Victorian styled mansion or perhaps roman styled? He said with a laugh, And yes! Of course a pool...how else will we have pool parties? He said with a snicker at the idea, Goodness...a ballroom though? He said with a laugh as he pointed at himself, I'm not sure when your going to realize I'm a horrible dancer...but I am. He said with a laugh, You want a ballroom to show how horrible I am to all our family and friends don't you. He said with a smirk.

Knox bit his lip, Your parents...ugh...hadn't thought about them very much. He said with a sigh, Well then...we do have an adventure ahead of us do we not...perhaps they would take it better if we were engaged? He said with a nervous smile at the word, And...we'll have separate bedrooms until our wedding day....or we will make it appear that we have separate bedrooms at least. He said with a laugh.

Knox seemed to to be wanting to make sure her needs and her wants were taken care of and if this was what he was like now their future was on the right track. Deianira was becoming a changed person and this change was for the good, she was no longer this mean heartless bitch she was someone who was full of love and had a lot of friends and had the perfect man to complete it all. I like Roman it is full of history but I also like Victorian also oh Knox I dont know what style I want but it does not matter because as long as I have you then im fine and the house is perfect. I am so happy right now to think when I graduate I can well if the house is not done live with your parents till it is and then when it is finished I.. She stopped talking as Knox had brought up them getting engaged and how they would live before getting married.

Yes it had been something they talked about a little right before Yule break but now it was a little more serious it was something that could really happen. It took her a minute to try and gather her thoughts when she ran her gingers through her hair and shifted a bit on the bed and for a moment looked at Knox with nothing but a smile. I have often entertained the thought of what it would be like to be well you wife and taking care of our house and maybe designing your album covers and then well.Deianira stopped before she started to scare him away with all of her thoughts. To be honest just to be their nasty selves my parents might push the whole engagement thing but dont let them pressure you. I want our future to be ours and we make the choices not them but also what would your parents think?She asked remembering the talk she was given when there over the holidays.

Knox listened carefully taking in what she was telling him about what she wanted carefully. Smiling at how sweet she was. We will start building immeadiatly...I'll send out owls to contractors tonight.. he said with a wink. He would go all out to make sure that her needs were kept...and making sure the house was done by the summer was very important for him to do. He would be sure it was.

He smiled at her as she spoke, If they push the engagement they may find I'm not too hard to convince. He said with a wink, But...we will see. He said with a sly smile. As the topic moved to his parents he smirked slightly, They will...umm...Well it will not be the easiest thing to declare to them that I'm doing. They will wonder what publicity it will cause on the family...I mean...I can see it now...'Unmarried Seaward boy moves in with lover.' Not the best look for a the New Zealand Ministry of Magic... He said with a laugh...However...I will tell them that the house title is being put in your name...that way if media wants to dig they'll only fine me visiting you. He said with a smile, When we get married I can sign on the title as well. He said with a firm smile reflecting his decision. He wasn't worried about this at all...
