It was after the New Year’s Eve ball and Alexander had an amazing time with his girlfriend Serena there. She was the most amazing person he had ever met in his life. It was after the party and the two were going to go back to Alexander’s house. He had everything set up already. He had candles out and made sure they lite up whenever they had walked in. He had put a charm on them before he had left earlier. It took him a while to plan this. He wasn’t sure if he was ready or not his nerves were getting to him and he was extremely shaky. He had the ring tucked in underneath the table in the kitchen.

They had gotten back to the house and it had been after midnight and close to early in the morning. He was going to do this at the New Year’s Eve ball but, he thought this would have been more romantic. He had rose pedal’s laying out everywhere to the kitchen where she would walk. He had desserts already out that he had made himself and not his house elves’. He had gentle music playing on in the background. He looked over at Serena and smiled softly as they had gotten to the house. He had an arm wrapped around her and giving her a soft kiss on her cheek.

Serena had been breath taking to him since the first moment he had fallen in love with her. He was so happy she had been his again. He knew this was the right moment and she didn’t know what was coming. He looked at her with his soft brown eyes. “Close your eyes babe for a moment, I’ll tell you when to open them. You can trust me.” He had told her. He waited for her to do so and he opened up the door softly. “Okay now you can open.” He said to her. Everything went to work and all of the candles had turned on and had their flames as they walked thru the path that led them. They followed the pathway to the kitchen and followed the roses to the outside.

He had everything set up he had lights hanging up over the table and the table over the pool water so it sparkled and everything shined. He also put a spell on the outside so it would be warm and she wouldn’t get cold. It was so beautiful. “For you my love.” He said and pulled out a single red rose and handed it to her. He couldn’t wait to see her reaction.

Outfit

It had been a fantastic night. Especially when Alex had first seen her, in her dress for the New Years Bash. That was a look she wasn't going to forget anytime soon. He also looked amazing, she wasn't able to take her eyes off of him all night. They spent the whole night dancing, talking, kissing occasionally because they knew they couldn't get too carried away in front of everybody. Now they were standing outside his place. She had no idea what he had planned, he had just invited her back to his house and of course she had said yes. Serena wasn't going to turn him down, never. When she wasn't with Alex, Serena missed him like crazy. Serena had already told him and she would tell him again and again if he wanted to hear it but she loved him more than anything in the world. He asked her to close her eyes, she didn't know why, but she trusted him. With a smile, Serena closed her eyes and waited until she was told she could open them again.

"Okay now you can open"

As soon as he said that, Serena's eyes fluttered open. Her mouth gaped at the sight. It was beautiful Rose petals covered the floor, leaving a path to where they had to go. Candles lit up everywhere giving the place a golden glow. The scene literally took her breath away. Serena's hand slipped into Alex's and he lead her the way through his house, through the kitchen and outside. "Oh my god!"

[/color] She said, her eyes widening and her heart pounding against her chest. It look like heaven. He spoke, which brought her attention to him and he had a rose extended out to her. Serena took it and smiled softly up at him. She was really over whelmed but in a good way. "Everything is amazing, it's beautiful."[/color] She said as she stepped closer to him until she was pressed up against him slightly, her free hand resting on his chest.[/blockquote]

Alexander had been so nervous, he wanted tonight to be perfect and not mess anything up. This was his one chance he had gotten and she had been his forever. She wanted this to be really special for her, she had deserved the best. Serena had been so amazing since they had known each other since Hogwarts. He couldn’t believe he left her and he was so angry with himself for doing so but, she was his and that’s all that mattered. She was his to take care of, he loved her with all of his heart and he was ready for this. Ready as ever, he was so thrilled to see her reaction as they had come outside. She looked so happy and it made him glad.

“You like it? I’m glad.” He had said softly looking down at her with a big smile on his face. He kissed her softly on the cheek and pulled her close. He had taken her hand and walked over towards the table that he had sat in the middle of the pool and he apparated the two over there and pulled her chair out for her. “I love you so much Serena, you’re the girl and the one for me.” He said softly and pulled out the ring underneath the pocket and kneeled down on one knee looking into her eyes. “From the first day that we met until now, we’ve been thru so much and I know that you are the most amazing girl I have ever been with and I want you to be mine. So will you marry me Serena Angel Night?” He had asked her and opened up the small black velvet box that had the ring.

The place really was amazing. She didn't know what he had planned or if he even had anything planned but she didn't think she could get any happier than this. Serena hardly recognised the place, he had done it up amazingly, it looked as though it were straight out of a film.

Alexander pulled her close and took her hand, he lead her over to the table and began talking to her. She smiled as he told her how much he loved her. She knew he loved her, but she was always happy to hear him say it. He had been the only man that had ever told her he loved her and she was not going to let him go this time, not if she could help it. Her eyes widened though as he pulled a ring out and got down on one knee. He could be such a romantic and it usually left her breathless and her head spinning, like now. Serena smiled down at him, tears, happy tears filling her eyes as he asked her to marry him. "Orcourse I'll marry you." She said without hesitation and kissed him passionately, throwing herself at him. When she broke the kiss she slipped the ring on her ring finger and then kissed Alexander again, wrapping her arms around him.

Alexander couldn’t believe he had been doing this. He had known Serena had been the one since the first day he had looked into her eyes, and he had remembered that day very clearly. Everything was starting to settle and he was so happy that she had accepted the offer. He slipped the ring on her and picked her up and spinned her around in a circle. He had been the happiest guy in the world right now. “I love you so much baby.” He said and pulled her close and kissed her passionately. He ran a hand thru her beautiful long blonde hair. “Now that your mine.” He said with a wink and kissed her again. “I have desert waiting for us right over here with a glass of wine to celebrate and to spend the rest of the night with you.” He whispered in her ear. “You’re my only one and I will never let you go ever again. He took her hands in his and walked her over towards the chairs and pulled hers out for her.

Serena didn't know Alexander could be so romantic. Her eyes glistened slightly as happy tears swarmed her eyes. "I love you to."

[/color] She said and then kissed him, deeply. Her arms wrapped around his broad shoulders, pulling her up onto her tip toes. After what seemed like an eternity, the kiss broke. He told her he had desert and wine waiting for them on the table. Serena grinned and glanced towards the table. It looked amazing and the desert looked delicious. She couldn't wait to eat it. Serena walked over to the table, her fingers linked with Alexander and then sat down once they were at the table. He could be incredibly romantic that it always surprised her. Looking at him he looked like a typical rocker dude. Just looking for the next girl to lay, but that was so not him.

Again, Serena smiled as he spoke. "Well I'm not going anywhere. Your stuck with me."[/color] She said laughing. Serena couldn't wait to tell her room mate Elena about her being engaged to Alexander. As a matter of fact she felt like standing on the table and screaming to the world she was engaged, but she would restrain herself. "So, you've really gone all out to impress me tonight. I'm wondering, how would you like me to thank you?"[/color] She asked flirtatiously. Serena knew he didn't really expect anything in return, but Serena wanted to do something for him and not just in the sack. Something amazing. Something that made him realise she loved him just as much as he loved her.[/blockquote]
