Galtem is Italian, and everything that denotes. He has dark hair, dark eyes, and a dark complexion. He is not very tall, especially seeing as he’s 13 years old. His dark hair is long and finding a part in his hair is virtually impossible. Galtem’s hair tends to grow forward, into his eyes. His hair is wavy, not curly, never call his hair curly! His hair is wavy. Very, very wavy.
Galtem’s eyes are his jewels. His eyes show everything about him. They’re dark, not black, but very dark brown. His eye lashes aren’t really very long, so they don’t do much for him, but his eyes give off a happy, proud, and charming look about them. Because Galtem is so young, this air about his eyes makes him sweet looking and naïve. People tend to see his eyes and immediately get the impression that he’s young and trouble free. Which he is!
Galtem’s complexion is dark, denoting a foreign heritage. He has a nice complexion, one that most girls would die for. Dark mocha, never needing a tan Galtem. That was him. The dark skin, however, does indeed show off his scars. They aren’t really battle wounds. They’re more of scars from climbing trees, falling down out of trees, and running into trees whilst playing. The scars turn up white against his dark skin, and he tends to be grateful the scars aren’t on his face, but mostly on his legs and knees.
The walk. Galtem has quite the walk for who he is at such a young age. (Most of this will be explained in the history). Galtem is of royal descent, and walks like it, however, living in a castle that isn’t his own, he’s had to learn to mask that walk. He was told by his mother and father to avoid being obvious about being royal. So Galtem’s walk is distinguished, however, he tries to lower himself to look like he isn’t. His clothes don’t give off a rich air either. His family works for the King of England and Galtem was never given fine clothing in hopes that they wouldn’t be found out.
Galtem is typically seen wearing jeans and a t-shirt. However, if invited to a fine ball or banquet, he has fine slacks and shirts, as well as a full on suit for certain occasions. Galtem looks quite nice and not disheveled at all during the day. Of course, the robes for school are a little big on him, making him look younger than his third year would usually be. Galtem doesn’t let it bother him though.
The boy is small, but not too much so. He’s 13, and still has a lot of growing to do. His hair, being so long, makes him look even smaller. His big personality makes up for it a little bit, but he’s still going to have to grow in order to not be made fun of. He is short, but also skinny. Galtem was taught not to eat a lot, making him look much more polite and charming. Galtem smiles a lot and is always happy. It is rare to see him sad or upset. His face just denotes….happiness!

full personality Galtem is quite the character. He’s a sweet and polite kid. He was taught at a very young age to treat others with respect, be kind and loving to everyone, and be grateful for everything given to him. One of the biggest things about Galtem is that he’s always smiling. He likes to laugh and finds the good in everyone. People tend to find him charming and adorable, even at his age.
Galtem isn’t afraid of a lot, but he is very shy to do new things. He doesn’t want to make a fool of himself and has a hard time being confident. He is proud, but not confident. More with his magical powers. He’s confident in who is he is and where he comes from, but not so much in his school work. He does a good job in classes, but passes as average. Galtem enjoys school and learning, but he has a hard time showing everyone what he’s learned.
He isn’t easily angered and no one typically sees him upset. The kid is always smiling and laughing! If he does get upset, the people who will notice is probably his close friends or relatives. He gets quiet and his smile disappears. He’s a happy kid. Galtem isn’t cunning, isn’t a liar, and is very loyal and truthful.
The biggest challenge for Galtem is being away from his parents. They’re very close and it’s hard for him to be away from them, especially his mother. He’s close to both of them, but his mother spent more time teaching him and directing him in the ways of life. Galtem is good at using his hands to manually fix things, and would rather spend time using his hands than waving his wand to do such work. He sees it as cheating. He enjoy living his life and takes it a day at a time. He’s not a real prankster, but finds a lot of things fun and funny.

complete history Many, many generations ago, the Rothari’s were the royalty of Italy. The king battled and brought many lands to Italy under his conquest. The generations grew and eventually one of the kings was reigning well. King Giovanni was the best king Italy had had in generations. Since his own grandfather of many greats. Giovanni’s right hand man, Franco Rotolando, was his best friend and confidante. Giovanni met his wife to be, Alexandrela, as a 20 year old king. Such a young age for greatness. However, Giovanni had it all. The kingdom, loyalty from his people, a loving wife, and small child, Galtem.
Little did he know that his reign would be cut short with the betrayal of Franco. Franco secretly attempted to make Alexandrela fall in love with him, and failed at many of those attempts. Alexandrela had no choice but to tell her husband. By the time Giovanni decided to speak with Franco, the move had already been made. Franco made an announcement to the people of Rome that their King had been using their money for fine gifts for himself and his family. To make matters worse, he continued on saying that he was sleeping with many of the housemaids. Giovanni wasn’t the noble family man he claimed to be. Franco got Giovanni alone and attempted to kill him. Giovanni gathered his family and disappeared in the middle of the night.
They found themselves on the way to England, to see Jake Windsor, a former friend of Giovanni’s through alliance. The king and queen graciously accepted them into their household. They were treated well and above all, Gatlem was given proper education and anything he could need. It was in a meeting between Giovanni and Jake that they decided that the Rothari family would be a secret. The family was to be a working family within the household, their true identities never revealed. To the other worker, the Rothari’s were known by just their first name.
Galtem was four years old when he arrived at the castle. The princess, Aria, was among his first friends there. They spent time together in school and she showed him many of the fun places around the grounds. Most of all, she kept his secret regarding his identity. At first, Galtem didn’t understand it all himself, but once he got older and his parents told him who he was, it all made sense.
Not only was Galtem astounded to find out that he was royalty of Italy, he was amazed to find out he was a magical prince. His mother told him when he was young and they told him not to use his magic until the day he went to Durmstrang. Hogwarts wasn’t suited for a boy who would someday be king. They wanted him to learn to be strong and fight well. Durmstrang was best suited to teach such things. And the Windsors would be going there. It was best to stick with them, since they nobly protected them in their time of need.
His first year at Durmstrang was tough, being away from his parents for the first time. He kept to himself, and did well in classes, smiling at passing students and professors. His second year was much better, making friends and sticking with the Windsors, especially Aria. She has helped him during classes and studying, even though they’re in different houses. The school knows who he is for real, and they vowed to protect his identity. He looks forward to his third year and is now comfortable with the school and its people. [/ul]
