Girls holiday shopping(Adele)

Today was going to one of many firsts as Deianira under the advisement of Knox was going to meet his brothers girlfriend Adele for a little shopping outing. The school had given permission for students to do holiday shopping on certain days and this happened to be one of them. This was going to be a first for Deianira as she really did not have many friends and she had never ever gone Christmas shopping with another girl spending an afternoon of this girl talk and some lunch. Most of the times with these trips she would stay in her dorm room with some food taken from the eating hall and spend the day relaxing alone drawing or reading. But she was not that person anymore and Knox thought it would be a nice idea for these two girls to get to know each other.


So there she stood by a gathering of tall candle lit street lights waiting for Adele to show up. Deianira had sent her the note asking for them to meet. To be honest she was rather nervous standing there some students whipsering about her being there since after all these years it was the first time she had went. Her hands smoothed out the velvet of her cloak and played with the fur trim of her leather gloves. Shopping was something she did enjoy and looking around at how the streets and shops were decorated it was a little easy to get caught up in the feeling of it all. She wanted to stay here or go with Knox for Christmas, letting out a sigh she turned around wand walked to the window of a shop that was a musical shop. There were instraments and right there was a fancy writing set of quill and ink and musical paper already with the lines it. It was a music writers set and she knew Knox would love it. She was glad her parents had done the usual thing of sending her a nice amount of money or as she called it shut up galleons.


They were spending the holidays away on a vacation and she wa as it aparently was to be spending the holidays at the school so now she had to make the best of it. There were so many doors opened for her now and today well maybe she could gain a friend and a little more insight into these two brothers this famous rock duo who was now aparently part of her life. Her mind began to wander in thought about how different things could be now for her all she had to do now was wait for Adele to show and maybe just maybe this day could be more fun then she thought.

It wasn’t that Adèle didn’t have friends; being as popular as she apparently was, she had a lot of people who considered her to be their friend but in truth, she really had a problem getting along with other girls, which was why she didn’t have anyone to really consider her “best friend” or anything like that. Things like, this, going Christmas shopping with Deianira was something she would never have done on her own, but Kasper and Knox apparently decided that the two of them should at least try to get along since Knox was dating this girl and Adèle was of course dating Kasper.

Adèle was kind of running a bit late, but she had met up with Kasper to say goodbye before she left and that turned into her not wanting to leave for a few more minutes than she planned but finally she made herself let go of him. Kissing him goodbye one more time, she reluctantly made her way to the ferry to Vakkar to meet Deinira where she was supposed to. It didn’t take her that long to get there, but she was still probably about 10 minutes late, and of course she was already being waited for like she expected. [red]Hey…sorry I’m late…I kinda got a bit caught up. [/red] She said apologetically, hoping she wouldn’t be mad since that would be a terrible way to start off any sort of friendship. [red]So, should we get this shopping thing started? [/red] She asked with a smile. Adèle loved shopping but she never really had any girl friends to do this kind of stuff with, so today should be a fun experience for her.

She turned lowering her hood as Deianira gave a polite smile. She had seen Adele all over school with Kasper but this was the first time she had a good look up close. Dont worry about it I think I may have been early. Hey Adele thanks for doing this. Not many people who just go shopping with someone they dont know. Im not an easy person to get along with but Knox said you were a nice girl and he vouched for you so I decided to come. I dont have many friends and I think it is about time I get some. She normally did not care what other people thought of her but this was not just some other student this was someone Knox called a friend so she wanted things to start off on the right foot. How she was behaving right now with a total stranger was against the norm for Deianira and she knew there could be times when super bitch came out and she hoped Adele would understand. Letting someone in is not easy and she already let Kasper but there was no harm in trying this friend thing with Adele

.I already saw something I wanted to get Knox right here in this music store. I dont know what else to buy who because well I have never had many people to buy got like Kasper he is my boyfriends brother I should but him a gift so thank god your here and oh god im rambling im so sorry this happens when im nervous. Deianira said as she stoped talking realizing how stupid she must look.Looking Adele over she knew the girl had great fashion taste so they would have love of clothing in common for sure. Students ran by them gigling and laughing talking about how much fun it will be to go home on holiday break and that made the smile Deianira had start to fade as that was something she would not be doing and while it was a good thing it was also a sad one. It sucked not having that family fun that bond that most did. But there was nothing she could do to change that so turning her attention back to this new possible friend she smiled once more. So wherre shall we head off to first?

Adèle had seen Deia around school with Knox and even before that many times since they had been going to classes and what not for a long time, but this was probably the first time she had ever really talked to her. [red]Oh it was really no problem. And its not like we’re completely strangers. We’ve been at the same school for years so we know each other, kinda. [/red] She said with a small smile. [red]I’m sure we’ll get along just fine. Who knows? This might actually be fun. I don’t really have many friends who are girls since well, I just don’t really get along with girls, but…I hope you’ll be the exception. [/red] She giggled slightly at this. It would be really awkward, if her and Deia didn’t get along, since they were dating brothers, twin brothers at that, and they were probably going to spend a lot of time together, friends or not.

Adèle shrugged slightly when she started talking about what she needed to get and for whom. Adèle at this point still had no idea what she was going to get Kasper for Christmas but she knew when she saw the perfect gift she would know. It was going to be hard trying to figure out what to get Knox as well, and the few other people she had to shop for, but with Deia here, it should be a bit more fun than just shopping alone. [red]Hmm…I’m not really sure what you should get Kasper but you should probably get him something. I’m getting Knox something but I don’t know what either, maybe we can help each other? [/red] She asked with a smile. Yes, helping each other buy their boyfriend’s brother’s presents would definitely make this whole Christmas shopping thing a lot easier. As Deia asked where they should head first, Adèle thought for a moment, although the best choice was probably right in front of them. [red] Maybe we should try the music store first. Since you said you already found something good in there, maybe I’ll find something as well. [/red]

She seemed nice enough really and Deianira was so up for this if there was one thing she loved it was shopping. Yes we do know of each other but dont really know each other do we? When it comes to shopping I most of the time find it fun.I feel the same I mean I dont have many friends guy or girls and up until rescently I did not spend a lot of time with others at all. But something happened that has changed me and my view on things so here I am. She said a shrug unsure of what to really say. This get together had to work because they were both dating brothers and there would be times where they spent time with each other so if they didnt get along that would be bad. She already had a view as in the store window behind her of what to get Knox as what she could tell Adele well Deianira had no clue.


I dont have much experience shopping for other people most of the time on the holidays I brought my parents something generic that they liked without much thought maybe because I didnt care. But now thought must go onto things I am still getting to know Knox so maybe as we shop you can help me with what to get Kasper whom I have not met yet believe it or not. Oh yes behind be the music store I saw a little song writers set that know Knox will love. He and I have only begun to date and is it weird to say already that I am inlove with him and cant imagine my life without him? Great here she was asking a woman she just meet face to face asbout her new life with her new boyfriend. She now began to think Adele would think her wierd or something but Deianira again was new at this friend thing and was not sure what to do or what to talk about sometimes she had a habbit if acting before thinking. She stood there biting her bottom lip as she tended to do when nervous.

So far, this Deianira girl seemed nicer than her reputation led on, but then again, both of them were probably being nicer than they normally would to a stranger right now. They sort of had to make this friendship work, whether they really wanted to or not for the sake of their boyfriends since whether the girls liked it or not, they would be spending time together on certain occasions. [red]No I guess we don’t really know each other at all. I can’t really even think of a time when we’ve talked before this. [/red] She said truthfully. Sure, they were in the same year and everything and probably had numerous classes together over the years but they didn’t really hang with the same crowd or anything so probably had no need to talk, ever. [red]I think all girls find shopping fun at least once in a while. I love it as well so we should have a pretty good time today right? [/red] That sounded logical, at least in her mind. If both of them loved to shop then they both had a common interest and that meant they might eventually become good friends.

Adèle listened to Deia talk about her past experiences with holiday shopping and Adèle had to admit that she pretty much had the same problem. While she loved to shop, she was really horrible at shopping for other people. [red]I have the same problem really. I never know what to get other people for holidays. My parents usually hint really hard about what they want for Christmas so that’s usually taken care of and my siblings are babies and babies really aren’t hard to shop for. Other than family though, I never really have people to buy things for. [/red] She said with a slight shrug. Truthfully, the only other person she had bought something for last Christmas other than family was her ex, who she was trying to keep complexly out of her mind. It made her smile the way Deia talked about her relationship with Knox. They seemed so cute together and it seemed like such a different kind of relationship than she had usually seen Knox in. [red]I’ve known both of them for years really, but not really on that much of a personal level until recently. Me and Kasper are still getting to know each other as well so I’ll try to help you pick something out for him but I’m not really sure how much help I’ll be. It does surprise me that you haven’t met him yet. [/red] She said, peaking through the window of the music shop as Deia mentioned what she had seen for Knox inside. [red]It’s not weird that you’re already in love with him even though you just got together. Even though I haven’t told him yet, I honestly feel the same way about Kasper. [/color] She said, blushing slightly.
