Sophie put her shirt back on as she sat in the window alcove. The little thing had a sill big enough for her to sit on. Adyrian took next to know time dressing and disappearing. Sophie knew Adyrian. He was a womanizer and many other things she really didn't have the energy to voice, even inside her head. She could, however, say that she'd slept with someone of such power and prestige...however, Kastiel had power and prestige. After her little tiff with him she'd gone off and killed that idiot professor and then found herself getting into it with Adyrian. What had she been thinking? A knot rose in her stomach as she buttoned and zipped up her jeans. Clenching her teeth, she tied her shoes and sighed.
The obvious thing to do would be just not to tell Kastiel; ever. He did'nt need to know and if she didn't say anything, she doubted he would find out. She'd messed up. She'd allowed this to go too far with Adyrian and now....what if Kastiel did find out? What would he do? She loved him more than she'd ever imagined she could or would, and yet....she'd thrown it all away. And for what? She didn't even know! Finally dressed, Sophie turned to the window and looked out, braiding her hair for nothing else to do. Maybe the stars would be on her side and tell the gods to go easy on her. Oh geez. Astronomy and greek astrology....grinning to herself at her little thought, she heard something behind her and turned around.

Kastiel headed up the the West Tower quietly. He wanted to use the towers as a take off spot so he could give his sore wings a chance to escape from his back for a moment of flying freedom. He was saddened slightly that him and Sophie were not currently talking after a fight...but it now seemed so silly of a fight...he would have to talk to her after his midnight flight. There was no reason they should break up from such a stupid fight...He smirked to himself, knowing...she of course would swoon at his apology...she loved him right? He climbed the steps until he reached the top floor of the West Tower...He froze as a familiar sound hit his ears...His eyebrows raised slightly as he heard what sounded like the finale between the lovers...He pressed himself against the wall so they wouldn't see him as he got closer to see who was going to be in deep trouble soon before they got the chance to run....his eyes widened in horror at what he saw and his body froze from where it was headed as he watched them both dress...Adyrian hurrying away first to get on with his night...and Sophie fixing her hair now that he was gone...He felt his body regain the ability to move and he pushed forward out of his hidden spot.. He clenched his fists as he walked up to her and she turned to face him, What brings you to the tower so late...Snape? He growled through his teeth...though he already knew quite well what she had done, You know for some reason...You smell like cologne tonight. He sneered, Any idea why? He asked her with hatred in his eyes.

Sophie's eyes widened for half a second. It was slight, but someone could see it if they knew Sophie. His emotions were strong and hateful. When Sophie stood up when she saw him, she had to sit back down, his emotions were so strong. It took her breath away and she had to calm her breathing in order to regain her wits. He was angry. She was positive his words were meant to be sarcastic. Kastiel called her 'Snape'. Since when had she ever been that to him? She had no words. For a while Sophie just stared at him, comprehending his emotions and reading his face.
His eyes; they were her favorite part of him. Aside from all other parts of who he was, his eyes were what drew her in every time. And yet this time, they were full of hatred and anger. Toward her. Sophie knew she'd messed her. She'd known before she'd even done anything with Adyrian. She stood up and put her hands on her hips. With no words, she only had her snottiness to give him. "Yes, well ,first I murdered a teacher, you see. Then I came up here for some air. Killing people takes a lot out of a girl. Then Adyrian showed up." She smiled, a nasty little smile that she had never intended to use with Kastiel. "His cologne is what you smell, love." She walked passed with an air of sassiness, although on the inside she was dying to just get away from him. She'd ruined something that was absolutely amazing, so why not go the distance and ruin it completely? "He should give you lessons," she muttered as she walked by him. The simple smell of him made her want to cry out to him and apologize, but Sophie wasn't an apologetic person and she was embarrassed and guilty. She sighed, wondering what would come next, because it seemed like her world had just shattered with Adyrian. She was pretty sure Kastiel was going to leave. And she wouldn't blame him.

Kastiel's lips thinned as he listened to her respond to him. She had apparently lost her temper with a a Professor and had immaturely killed her, figures...He listened to her with a blank look on his face...not showing an ounce of emotion but hate as she spoke..not even at her stupid smile or the hateful words she spoke. He stood stone still with black eyes upon her's like deadly weapons about to explode at a seconds warning...He wanted to scream and punch her in the face..tear her limb from limb and expose the lack of heart within his chest...but he stayed emotionless. He raised his eyebrow at her and smiled after a long silent moment... You know...You like to think that Severus wanted to hide you because he cared so much about you....but you should know that your wrong. He didn't give a shit about you, he hid you because your an embarassement, a disgrace to his name and you always will be...You are going no where in life...because you are nothing. Severus is rolling in his grave at the thought of how you worship him...when in truth you are nothing to him except a giant worthless mistake. He said through his teeth, And now your my mistake...my worthless little mistake. He spat at her before jumping on to the window ledge, I hope you fall apart when you realize what you have done... He growled as he jumped from the ledge into the night sky...falling several feet towards the ground before his wings spurt from his back and carried him away...

Sophie let her jaw drop slightly at Kastiel's words. The one person she felt would never voice her own fears to her face, told her the worst things about her and the things she feared the most. She clenched her teeth, forcing herself to listen to his words. They struck home and hurt her more than she'd imagined his words ever could. It was like the wind was knocked out of her; she couldn't breathe. As he walked passed her, she followed, still listening to his words. She was worthless to him. Well, she was worthless to most people, but to hear him say it...she couldn't express the emotions she was feeling now, they certainly weren't his.
He jumped up on the window ledge, disappearing over the edge. She once again followed, letting her hands find purchase on the sill. Watching him fall then spread his wings, she couldn't help but think how magnificient he looked. And she'd let it go. She'd messed it up with one stupid act. She watched him go and as she did, she replied his last words in her head. I hope you fall apart when you realize what you have done. "I already have," she murmured. Once Kastiel was out of sight she turned around and sat on the stone floor, her knees drawn up to her chest. The feeling was unfamiliar. SHe didn't understand it. So when the tears came, she was ashamed and embarrassed. Sophie never cried, she couldn't remember the last time she cried! She quickly wiped the foreign tears from her face, willing them to stop. No one could see her crying! But try as she might, they kept coming and she screamed in frustration. Kastiel was right. Severus probably was rolling in his grave.
