A Very Seaward Christmas (Ari and Adele)

Kasper took a deep breath as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. He couldn’t help but cringe at the way his hair refused to look smooth today and instead had decided on a wild untamed look by itself. He frowned at this and tried once again to flatten it down with a hair brush and some water…He could hear his mother passing outside the door of the bathroom and was vaguely aware she had stopped to listen to see if she could tell what he was doing. He sighed and was relieved when she didn’t knock and just continued down the hallway. He glanced back into the mirror and took in a deep breath so that his chest filled with air and he stood up straight before letting the air out. He washed his face gently with water before turning to the clothes he had laid out on the bench in the bathroom.
He pulled on the grey skinny jeans with the faded rips down the legs quickly and then turned back to the bench to grab his blue cashmere sweater his mother had bought him and had given him when they arrived home….he glanced at it for a moment…feeling the fabric on his hand before pulling it over his shoulders…even as a mom, she was pretty good at dressing him so that he looked good…he could hear the door open up behind him and he felt instant relief that he had gotten dressed.
He glanced at his brother and rolled his eyes before heading down the stairs as the doorbell rang across the castle.

Knox tapped his fingers on his chin for a moment as he looked himself in the mirror for the fifteenth time in the last hour. His black skinny jeans were fit so snug against his leg that his legs looked boney….and his black band shirt with a ridiculous amount of cuss words scribbled across them. He smirked at how good his hair looked today…wild and untamed in such a messy way that he knew he would bother his mother…He sprayed some of his favorites spicy scented cologne on before heading out of the door towards the floors bathroom that was between him and Kasper’s bedroom. He frowned at the closed door but swung it open anyways, Seriously out… I need a quick smoke before the rents see me and before Dei gets here… He told him…
He shut the door behind Kasper as he left and pulled out a cigarette….He breathed in as he lit it and couldn’t help but smile as the smoke filled his mouth and went into his lungs… Christmas was always so stressful for the twins…various family members stopping by and their parents nit picking them on the way they dressed…he growled slightly at this and inhaled more of the much needed smoke.
After finishing the cigarette, he brushed his teeth and headed down to find Kasper…knowing that someone had already arrived. He smiled at the person standing with Kasper, Heya. He told her.

Those normal thoughts of dread that filled her during the holiday time were gone. Deianira was going to be spending the holidays with Knox and his family. For the first time she would be part of a real famiy Yule and hopefully enjoy this time of year for the first time. All morning long she had changed her outfit at least three time and then it hit her. Soras had gone through all this trouble along with Aria to make her over so Deianira reached into her closet and pulled out a pair of skinny jeans and a pink lace top with the cutest of bows, she had never worn jeans before but she also never had a boyfriend before so she was ready to try anything new and also felt Soras and Aria would not stear her in the wrong direction.

Deianira placed in the new pink outfit along with some matching jewerly made up of some sprakle and pearls and a a pair of fantastic shoes. Letting out a long breath she looed at herself in a full length mirror as she ran her hands over her legs as still this felt funny never ever had she even worn pants and now she is standing here in jeans.Her hair hung down her back in loose curls as she added the pearl drop earings to her ears. Her hand grasped her wand as she waved it over the clothing already folded on the bed and watched it float over to her trunk and settle inside and that being the last of the outfits the trunk shut itself and locked and shrunk to a quarter of it's size. She had everything she needed in there along with gifts for everyone.Deianira was getting a little nervous she wanted to make a good impression on evreyone the last thing she wanted to do was offend his family. But all she ahd to do was be the person she was around Knox and everything should be fine.

She grabbed her little clutch purse and threw on a camel colored cloak and grabbed the now small trunk and headed to the closest floo and with the toss of green powder and off she went.God she hated when that stuff blew up in her face. Her body jerked back as opened her eyes and started to walk out of the large fireplace and for a second thought she saw Knox but then realized nope it was his brother and she smiled walking over and placing down the small trunk. Hey there Kasper She did not know what to say because this was the first time she had met him but then there was the sound of feet coming down the hall and Deianira turned with a big grin and palced her small clutch on the trunk and walked over to Knox throwing her arms around him and giving him a kiss. Hey there I missed you and thank you again for inviting me here.

[pink]It was an understatement to say that Adèle was nervous. This was the first time she was going to meet Kasper’s parents, and it was going to be over Christmas, when she was going to be staying. She was pretty much freaking out, which was really unlike her, but she really wanted his parents to like her and she didn’t want to do anything wrong whatsoever…starting with what she was going to wear. Adèle had been changing her outfit, literally all morning. When she decided on something, she would find a flaw in her outfit for whatever reason and decide to change. She must have gone through 25 outfit choices before she finally decided on something that was nice enough to do something this important in; a simple black skirt and a nice purple top with some stockings to keep her legs warm and heels to match. Sure, it was the middle of winter and most people would probably wear pants to keep warm, but as much as Adèle didn’t want to admit it, she was too much of a girly girl to even wear pants ever…unless they were really cute.

After finally deciding on her outfit, she packed up the rest of the clothes she had laid out for the time she was going to be there, with the help of a conveniently placed expansion charm on her purse that her mother helped her with. How she would ever be able to carry all of the things she always needed in such a small bag without the help of that charm, was beyond her. She really had no idea how muggles did it. Finally, after carefully packing all of the Christmas gifts in her bag so that they wouldn’t move around too much in the large space inside her bag, she was ready to go. Saying a quick goodbye to her parents and siblings, she walked out the door before apparating to the Seaward home. Biting her lip, she rang the doorbell and took a deep breath, trying to choke down her nervousness and be her normal confident self. This wasn’t hard to do once the door opened and she saw Kasper standing there. [/pink][red]Hello love. I missed you…[/red][pink] She said with a smile as she hugged him tightly and gave him a kiss before looking over to Knox and Deia.[/pink] [red] Hey guys. [/red] [pink]She said with a small wave. Kasper was about to open the door when a voice made him jump, Oh...Hi there. He said shyly as he looked over his shoulder at her before opening the door for Adele, I missed you too. He hugged her as soon as his green eyes locked on her blue ones, squeezing her tightly and with emotions of happiness as well as sadness that they had been separated for about a have of a week when school let out. He kissed her back passionately for a moment. He didn't want to let her go but he also didn't want to make it awkward with his brother and Deia standing behind them. He took the moment of her saying hello to the other's to look her over...she was always so beautiful, she barely even had to try in his eyes to look so stunning. He loved the way anything looked on her. He wrinkled up his nose slightly as his mother and father peered into the room curiously.

Their mother was a tall women, with a small waist and long legs. She had dark chestnut brown hair with caramel highlights the felt down to her shoulders in loose curls...she was a deeply tanned woman with bright green eyes and thick dark eyelashes. Their father was about a foot shorter than their mother but about a few inches taller than the boys...he was a frail looking man with olive colored skin and long black hair with silver highlights that was pulled into a pony tail at the base of his neck..he looked into Kasper's eyes for a moment before speaking to the room, Hello there, welcome guests of our twins please come into the living room...we have much to discuss. He said before turning on his heel in the direction of the dining room...the boys mother's green eyes gave an apologetic shrug towards the girls and then followed her husband.

Kasper turned to Adele and took a deep breath, Well this will be fun. He said with a half smile.

Knox wrapped his arms around Deia as she greeted him, returning her kisses with much built up passion...the few days separation had been horrible to go through. He hated being apart from her even if it was only for a few days, thank you for coming sweetie, I missed you too! He told her before burying his head into her shoulder like he loved to do.

He jumped slightly as a voice spoke behind him and he loosened his grin and his lips from Deia's before turning around to face his father. He gave the man a slight frown as he spoke and cussed under his breath at what he commanded of them...rolling his eyes at his mother he turned to face Deia, Don't be nervous, they are harmless believe it or not.. He told her as he wrapped his arm around her waist and led her towards the living room...glancing at Kasper with a here we go smirk.

She was more then happy to kiss Knox back as now they would be speding a lot fo free time together and not have to deal with classes or professors telling them what to do. She pressed her pink lips harder to his as her hands snaked up his neck and started to play with his hair s she knew he liked that. I know this holiday season is going to be so special and something I remember for the rest of my life. I hated being apart from you even if it was only a few days..She continued to play with his hair almos massaging his scalp with her one hand as she held him to her with the other. If it were not for the voice of his father they would have stayed like that for a while. Yes Deianira knew that she would be meeting his parents but now that she stood there looking at them well now the nerves started to set in. What if they did not like her and found faults and told her to leave?

Her long blonde hair flew around her as Deianra shook her head trying to get those thoughts out.They seemed nice enough so maybe her head was just messing with her and they group of them were just going to talk about some house rules. She wrapped her right arm around Knox's waist as they headed for the livingroom. Her blue eyes scanned the house as the decorations were done in a elegant style very festive but not too over done. I will try and not be I just hope they like me after all their impression of me is important.But yours is the most important. Her head turned and quckly placed a kiss on Knox's cheek. It filled her with so much happiness to be here with Knox and his famiy plus her new friend Adele. The girl seemed rather nice and this break they would all getting to know each other better she hoped.

[pink]Adèle was so happy to see Kasper that it almost made every ounce of nervousness she had built up go away. It felt like forever since she was able to be in his arms, even though it had only been a couple of days; but a couple of days felt like entire weeks when they were so far away from each other and she was just so glad to see him. She loved the way he kissed her back but she knew he wouldn’t kiss her for very long with people in the room; it was sort of rude to ignore everyone and everything. As they broke the kiss, she took his hands in hers and just held them tight as she said hello to the other two…that was when she noticed Kasper’s parents looking into the room. His mother was a lovely woman and from the look of her from across the room, also very tall. Adèle was definitely the shortest person in room and it did make her feel a bit self-conscious for some reason.

His father was the first one to speak as he welcomed her and Deia and asked everyone to go into the living room and so they could talk. Just from his tone, he seemed like a very important person…and then she remembered that he was the Minister of Magic for New Zealand so of course he was important. She wondered what he would need to talk to them about and she suddenly felt herself become very nervous yet again and felt herself begin chewing on her bottom lip like she always did when she was nervous. Looking over at Kasper as he said this should be fun, she tried to give a smile, but she couldn’t stop the nervousness from showing on her face. Kasper put his hand against her back as he led her into the room to where their parents had led them to. He led her to a comfy red couch and then sat down beside her as he watched Knox lead Deia in and onto the black couch beside them again. He glanced at his father who had gotten up to go stab the fire for a moment and then tossed a few more wood chucks into the fire..letting the red and gold embers spark several times before setting the poker down and turning back to where his son's had sat down with their guests and then gave them a small smirk before sitting down beside his wife. He leaned back in his chair and looked at both of his sons with a blank expression on his face for a long moment. Kasper sighed slightly as he looked into his father's eyes for a long moment. His father's dark eyes locked on his and he raised his eyebrow slightly at his father, Mum...Dad...this is Adele. He said wrapping a arm around her shoulder.

Knox looked at his mother with a smirk as she stared at him with her green eyes locked on his. She never trusted him when he brought girls around... never thought he was up to any good. She was right for the most part...he would admit it. Most of the time, he was never up to any good...but he really did have good intentions this time. He followed them into the room with his arm around Deia waist, gently guiding her into the room and onto the sofa. His eyes locked on his mother's once again and he looked away to avoid her prying eyes..He put his head on Deia's shoulder as Kasper introduced Adele to their parents, This is Deia, mum and dad...my girlfriend. He told them with a glare toward his mother and a smile towards his father.

Thomas frowned slightly at the way Kasper, of all people raised his eyebrow at him. He wasn't sure why this bothered him but it made him wonder slightly about his usually shy son. He shook it off slightly as Kasper introduced his guest as Adele and then Knox introduced his as Deia. The Minister of Magic, sat for a long moment in silence before finally letting a grin crack across his face, Welcome girls, it is such a pleasure to have you to here. Thomas mentioned with a smile before letting his face slip back into the serious look he usually had, As you may no, I am the Minister of Magic here in New Zealand. This unfortunately means a lot to the both of you since your decision to date my sons. Of course, you know of their fame from their band thing they have...but they are also representatives of the New Zealand Minister of Magic. He said clearing his throat slightly, This means the things between you and my sons are of great importance to me. You see, if things become...well less than favorable between you, the press may blow it up...which of course could have a negative impact against my family and myself. He told them, That is why I must make a few things clear...For the first matter...if you decide to have sex with my sons you must know that I did not approve of this. I, however, know that my opinion of Knox's and Kasper's sex lives are out of my hands...They will do and behave as they please. I do ask however, that you refrain from going public about your sex lives and in the event you become with child you notify me at once for catastrophe intervention. This means of course...a marriage would be unavoidable if you chose to keep said child. He said with furrowed eyebrows at Knox.

Amy twirled a strand of hair in her fingertips as she looked the girl's as he husband spoke. She had a strange feeling in the back of her mind at the moment and she wasn't sure why. She smiled slightly as she listened to her husband's speech...though she rolled her eyes at several parts. All the rules and regulations of the privileged life were obnoxious to her. She wasn't sure why but she didn't want to lock eyes with Kasper at the moment...something was different about him and it made her nervous...She instead locked eyes on her other son, the always up to something one and gave him a stern glare through her green eyes. She hated seeing him break girl's hearts but she was use to his ways...she hoped she was wrong about him...but she wasn't sure. She glanced at Kasper nervously as her husband finished talking, Umm...right. To add to that...We have placed both girls in conjoined rooms on the fourth floor...Adele your room will be 422 and Deia your room is 424. She said with a smirk, The boys rooms are on the eight floor...I am implicating a curfew on you teenagers to help protect you from your urges. You need to be in your own rooms by eleven. She said with a smile, Other than that..welcome to our home. She said with small smile. She stood up, Your father and I have to entertain some of our own guests tonight...the head auror and his wife, so do excuse us. She said with a smile as her husband led her out of the room with a smile and a wave to the boys..

Oh yeah something told Deianira that this little meeting with Knox's parents was not going to be al smiled and welcome and lets party.The Sewards meant business and as she sat down it was easy to sense the tension that was forming in the room. When Knox introduced her Deianira smiled and noded. It is a pleasure to meet you both and thank you for letting me stay in your lovely home.. Now the nerves were really startng to creep in as his father started first and kept going on and on about how improtant it was that they family looked right and that the reputation of the Sewards remained intact because of his position in this world. It started to sound like some speech her own parents gave her about how others look at you and the fact you better not svrew up.Then when Mr.Seward mentioned sex lives and getting pregnant she almost chocked on her own saliva as Deianira started to cough a bit. For petes sake she was a virgin and not stupid she knew how to protect herself. This was their house and she would obey their rules but form the start of this something told a nervous Deia there would be more to come. She saw the look Knox got from his father and she gently placed a kiss ontop of her boyfriends head to let him know everything was alright. But then his other started in and yeah she could tell she meant more business then her husband.

It did brought a smile to her face when she heard her room was nect to Adele's but that smile faded when she heard how far apart she would be from the man she loved her Knox. And then came a curfew really they were not little kids little first years but it wa sobvious the parents had it set in their minds already what would happen. It was hard not to react to what they said as Deia shifted on the couch and coughed a few times. Minister and Mrs. Seward dont worry I will respect your rules and I wont bring anything that might mark this family with a black mark on it's reputation you can trust me.Deia said trying not to let the nerves show but yes they were there and when she watched his parents leave the room she let out a sigh of relief. All I can say is wow and now what do we do? She said soflty so that if still in the halls his parents wouldnt hear but Knox would. They were going to be watched and close but still she knew both her and Knox would find time to be alone.

As Kasper put his hand on her back and lead her into the room where his parents were waiting, she was completely and totally nervous. Technically, this was the first time she had ever gone through the “meet the parents” scenario and she really didn’t want to mess things up. When she met Arty’s parents, it was back in their first year and they weren’t anything close to together so there was absolutely no pressure. Now with Kasper, she was his girlfriend and sometimes that didn’t go over well with some parents as she had heard. Hopefully they didn’t ask her a lot of questions because she wasn’t sure if she even had the ability to speak at the moment since she was so nervous.

Kasper lead her to a red couch where they sat and Knox and Deia sat on a black one next to them as they waited for someone to say something. Kasper, as it turned out, was the first to say something as he introduced her to his parents. She smiled sweetly and gave a small polite wave before speaking. [red]It’s very nice to meet you both. I’ve heard so much about you and you have a lovely home. Thank you so much for allowing me to stay here. [/red] She said nervously, trying not to babble too much. Luckily she stopped herself before she continued to say whatever came to mind as Knox introduced Deia and she said hello. It was nerve racking the way Kasper’s father said nothing to them at first and just looked at them with a serious face but the mood lightened a bit as he finally smiled at them and welcomed them.

Adèle was happy that he seemed to not hate her and she hoped she made a good impression, but her good mood faded just a bit as he began his lecture. Of course she understood that he was a very important person and anything that were to happen between her and Kasper was going to reflect back on him, but she really didn’t expect the conversation to turn to their sex lives. She wasn’t a virgin like Kasper was but she completely respected his wishes to wait until he was ready. It could take months or years for him to be ready but it really didn’t matter to her because she loved him. As he finished speaking, their mother added something to the speech, basically just telling them of the room situations and implementing a curfew on them which Adèle thought was a little strange but she wasn’t going to complain since it was her house and therefore her rules. The rooming situation didn’t bother her that much since her and Kasper had yet to sleep in the same bed anyway so she figured they wouldn’t here anyway. As they finished speaking and Deia said her piece about respecting their rules and what not, Adèle nodded in agreement, not really having anything else to add to her statement before the boy’s parents left to go entertain their own guests. [red]Well that was pleasant… [/red] Adèle said with a sigh quietly to Kasper once they were alone in the room; well, alone aside from Knox and Deia.
