HISTORY: Sheldon and Jasmine were born outside of an Army base. The twin Army Brats moved about 15 times before their father was stationed in Russia. Since it was James' last year, the family decided to stay in Russia. Not to mention Abigale got a job writing for a Russian newspaper. The twins were simply excited to not have to move again.
From the start Sheldon and Jasmine were always close. When the twins were in Kindergarten in London England the school tried to put Sheldon in a more advanced class since he showed a lot of potential. The twins spent the entire day crying so they had to be put together again. Sheldon lived his life as a big fish in a small pound so he could be in the same class as his sister. They wouldn't spend much time apart. They even shared a room for the longest time. That was until Sheldon got his letter.
When Sheldon got his letter the only thing that surprised him was that Jazz didn't get one too. Since at the time Durmstrang would not accept him, Sheldon had to go to Hogwarts. His parents offered to move to England again so Sheldon could attend school but he didn't want to uproot his family again. Everyone was comfortable and he couldn't bring himself to make everyone move. So in September, Sheldon boarded a plane to London for Hogwarts.
Sheldon continued to travel back and forth to London until his 5th year, when he got what his family considered the best letter he could ever get. It was an acceptance letter to Durmstrang. He no longer had to travel to London every fall. To his family this was great news but to Sheldon he wondered if it really was great or not. He had heard the whispers in the halls of Hogwarts about Durmstrang. He had read the articles in the paper about the fight to get Muggle borns into Durmstrang.
At Hogwarts Sheldon learned that he had a love for flying. He also picked up quickly on Charms and transfiguration. Sheldon was always smarter then most of his classmates. Having a disadvantage to other students at Hogwarts, Sheldon tried his hardest to work harder then everyone else. He studied for hours and always turned in Home work early. He never really was good at potions. For some reason he could just never really grasp it very well.
In normal school Sheldon was always the nerd and never really had friends. At Hogwarts he was able to make friends. His second year he started playing Quidditch and actually made some friends. That was one of the reasons he hated the idea of leaving Hogwarts. He was afraid to be teased and tormented again like he was in Muggle school.
Sheldon's parents have always tried to be supportive of Sheldon and him being a wizard. The family got an owl and even started getting the local magical paper. The only one who wasn't supportive was Jasmine. She felt like her brother abandon her. She was not used to doing things without her brother. The were supposed to be a pair, not separate. So ever since Sheldon has started going to school, the twins really haven't talked much. It really bugs Sheldon that his twin won't talk to him. They have always gotten along until now. When Sheldon is at school he writes his sister as much as he can but she never writes back. Sheldon hopes eventually that Jasmine will start talking to him again. [/color]
