  Castiel woke up early, looking at the clock it was 5am, he stretched his tired bones and flopped back onto bed. "Next time I'm going to bed at 9 o'clock instead of 11." he said to himself. Cas stayed up watching the muggle television, it was his one guilty pleasure. One of his buddies from school was a muggleborn and when he went to his house down at the summer, he had a TV and got addicted to the muggle shows that were on there. No one knew of his secret though, whenever someone came over, he would wave his wand and the big 70 inch screen would dissapear till they left.
Getting up lazily, he walked to the shower and turned on the shower, when the shower got hot he jumped right in. The hot water helped him wake up a bit more and soothe his tired bones. Hopping out, he grabbed one towel to wrap around himself, and then another to dry off his upper half. The cool air of the ocean made him shiver a bit, " Damn it's cold today." he said crossing his arms. Cas headed to this wand and waved it, the fireplace in his bedroom came to life and slowly started to heat up the room. Smiling to himself he loved how he had a fireplace in his room. Made it more romantic if women came over, well, one woman. Katerina. He smiled when he thought about her, she's a great gal.
At around six o'clock, he made his way out to his backyard, taking a step out, he overlooked the ocean. He loved his ocean front property view, it relaxed him in a way that was very soothing when other things didn't help. Taking a deep breath in, he could smell the salty air and hear the waves crashing on the sand. Castiel started to walk towards his ship that was docked by it's self off a lonely pier, when he reached it, he got into the boat. "Ok here we go." he said starting the engine for a day of work.
Coming back to the beach it was tweleve pm, it was a bad day of fishing, he only caught a few things, and didn't sell as much as he wanted, but it was ok, he had plenty of money saved up for days like this if he can't pay his bills. After tying the boat to the dock, he walked on the pier and noticed that it was not as hot here as it was on the boat. But he still took of his shirt because he was dripping with sweat. It's a real workout working on a fishing boat by yourself. Plopping his feet onto the sand, he swished his wand, and his shoes and shirt disappeared as he started to walk along the sand of the ocean. He wasn't ready to go home yet.

  Serena wasn't even sure why she was at the beach but she was and she was alot more relaxed than she had been in a while. Lately Serena had spent alot of time with Alexander, which she loved, but she thought that they may be moving too fast. They had lots of history and knew pretty much everything about each other so maybe that was why she felt they were moving to fast. They had already had sex ontop of his piano which was just hot as hell and out of this world but she was still scared of getting hurt. Serena really needed a friend to talk to, to give her advice. She knew she wanted to be with Alexander, that was a dead cert, but it was just her usual insecurities telling her she isn't good enough for him. Which is what pretty much every girl thinks when she is with a guy. No wonder most girls were alone.
Serena stopped walking and stared out to the horizon and just thought. Suddenly one person came to mind, a old friend who she hadn't seen in years. They used to play on the beach when they were kids. Castiel was his name and he was her best friend through out her childhood. They hung out every day, causing trouble and basically just being kids. When Serena turned eleven though she had to move, to go to a wizarding school. They lost contact and hadn't spoken since. Serena had missed him alot over the years and only hoped that one day they would meet again. Serena turned and began walking again, she was looking down at the sand that she didn't notice someone walking towards her. Serena accidentally bumped into someone as she walked past them. Serena stopped and looked back, blushing a little because she had been clumsy. "Oh I'm sorry I......Cas?" She said as if she couldn't believe she was seeing him.

As he walked, he looked out at the horizon and saw a whale flip his tale out and splash, his father always told him that it was a good omen, it ment happiness and surprise. Sure Castiel was happy, but what surprise? Was Katerina going to be at the house when he got home? He sure hoped so, they haven't talked in a while and he kind of missed her. Looking out again, the whale splashed again and he couldn't help but smile, he loved whales. Well just about everything in the ocean he loved, except sea snakes. Those creeped him out.
As he kept looking at the water, he bumped into someone, he only noticed blonde hair and he muttered sorry until she called by name. Freezing on the spot he turned around and noticed a very good looking blonde at it. "Yes my name is Cas, and you are?" he asked looking at her closely. Then the lightbulb turned on before she could answer, "Oh my gosh! Rena?" he said as his jaw dropped. They were best friends during childhood and she had to move because she went to Hogwarts instead of Durmstrang. She was five years younger than him, but they hung out anways, boy did he miss her when she left.
Walking up to her he pulled her in a big hug, "How have you been? You look wonderful! What a surprise to see you." he said shaking his head. Guess the omen was right. He waved his wand and two lounge chairs with a table of drinks of different sorts between them, "Please sit." he said as he sat down. The shock was still there, he still thought about her everytime he came out here to the beach.

Serena raised a eyebrow slightly as he spoke. He didn't recognise her right away but she had hoped Castiel would soon realise who she was. Her eyebrow rose slightly as he asked who she was. After a few long seconds, realisation hit him and he pulled her into a hug. Serena wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. He had been her best friend back when they were kids and it had sucked when they were separated and now after god knows how long they were finally meeting again. Serena had missed him more than she could say, and a huge grin spread across her face. The hug broke and he asked how she was and told her she looked wonderful. She blushed a little and smiled."Thank you. I've been good actually. I'm teaching at Durmstrang now. Never thought I'd be teaching there to tell you the truth, but it's fun." She said smiling up at him.
Castiel made two deck chairs appear with a small table that had different drinks on it. Serena sat down, crossing one leg over the other and got herself a drink. "It's so great to see you Cas, how ya been?"
[/color] She asked taking a sip of her beverage. The beach was very relaxing and it was a beautiful beach. There was not many stones, the water was pretty clear and the waves were not so big that you couldn't go for a dip in the ocean. Serena did really like coming here. Serena looked back at her childhood friend and smiled. They had so much to talk about, like the fact that her old love had come back and things were going very very well between them. Serena had never been happier, and now that her best friend was here she was 100% truly happy.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
