Kristen stood outside of the frozen lake with his sunglasses on and a black tank top on as if it was a hundred degrees out and not thirty degrees. He didn't really mind the cold, in fact he barely even noticed it. He was too distracted by the surface of the lake being broken by a large creature beneath the surface as it hunted some of the bird flying above them...a large tentacle shot out of the ice and grabbed a large hawk from the air and back down into it's mouth below the surface. Kristen stared for a long moment as the surface grew calm once more and the creature disappeared far below the surface back to the deep dangerous depths of the Russvatnet Lake.
He sighed at the disappearance of the dangerous creature once more as he turned to head back up to the school. He walked up to the rock he had thrown his hoody on and picked it up. He sighed and pulled it on as he headed up to the castle. He looked up at the entrance of the castle as someone stepped out into the cold air...his lips curled into a smile, Hello Raelyn...it's been a while. How have you been? He asked her as he walked closer to her.
As he reached her, he couldn't help but look away slightly. He wasn't sure why but her presence always made him a little nervous in the pit of his stomach. Not that he would ever consider the idea that he felt that way for her...that would be just absurd right? He looked up into her brown eyes and smiled, Well then...are you ready to begin Auror Training again? I'm sure you've been slacking. He teased her with a boyish, playful smile. Pushing the strange nervousness out of his stomach, he forced his mind back to reality and remember the reason they knew each other...not only was he her mentor but he was also her Professor now. They hadn't seen each other since he was investigating a case at the Hogwart's school in London for the Norwegian Minister of Magic...yes, it had been out of his normal bounds but they needed an outsider for the case at the time...he had left the school last year about the same time of year as it was now...so to see her here now was a surprise, What made you come to Durmstrang this year Raelyn? He asked truly curious.. he really hadn't expected to see her after he left London.

Life at this school had not been an easy one Raelyn knew that when she begge her parents to let her come here to let her start to foght for injustice now. But there were those small moments where she was glad she was there like when she was just made house champion for the school cup and as she thought back there were a lot of friends in her house. They had mde her feel welcomed and while being inside her house was where no harrassment took place this girl did not hide in fear she did not walk away from anything. She had to get out of the dorms for a while and so she placed in a nice leather coat and grabbed her gloves and was going to head out to the nice cool air and take in the scenery around the castle.Despite how it looked on the outside all dark and foreboding the school to Raelyn had a little dark beauty. She loved walking around looking at the small details and seeing the beauty in even the smallest of things.
These walks helped her clear her head and with the cold many students would be inside by the fire or those with someone more then likley would be making out with someone. letting out a sigh she saw the door to the outside then she heard a voice, a certain voice she wished to hear again but thouight she would not. Her eyes got s little wide as she realized who it was and there was no stopping it as a smile started to creep across her face. Oh my god wow Kristen good I have been good. She realized she called him by his first name and then pretended to look away at some winter bird that were flying over head. Yeah there it was those butterflies that kicked up when she thought about him. But really was thos right not only was he her mentor but also he was now one of her professors so Raelyn felt she had to try and not let any hint of those feelings show.
A light laugh came from her as he mentioned her Auror training and that she had been maybe slacking a little. All of her life there was one thing that she wanted to do for a job when the time came and it was to be an auror a dark wizard catcher. In her mind she was thankful that nobody esle was around to see this little reunion and the awkward feeling that was more then obvioudly going on between these two. Sorry to let you down but no I havent . I have kept up on my readings and praticing some defensive spells and attack ones as well. You taught me well.. It was so nice to see him and to know there was a special bod there but at what level that bond was well she was going to be keeping her crush in the man a well guarded secret. I told my parents if I was going to be the best Auror I could be I had to start fighting injustice and what better place then to start then here. They knew they would not win if they aregued with me s here I am. Her head slightly tilte to the side giving Kristen a little sly smile that she quickly took back not wanting to look like some simple young girl flriting with a professor.

Kristen gave her a big smile back and couldn't help but turn the smile into a smirk as she said his first name instead of Mr. Lynch. He gave her another smile as he reached out to touch her shoulder and turn in the direction she was heading in to walk with her. He dropped his hand cautiously and then turned to smile at her. He bit his lip and looked nervously at her for a moment as he listened to her speak. She always had this way about her...making him nervous whenever she smiled at him and he had no idea why she had such an effect on him.
He smiled at her and pushed her slightly as they walked in a teasing way so that she stumbled into the snow, That's what I want to hear. I'm proud of you..Remind me to not take it easy on you when we practice soon. He said with a devious wink and a grin as he skipped ahead of her into the snow. He turned and gave her a smirk, Your poor parents...dealing with you must be such a chore.. He said laughing at this as she caught up with him. He gave her a boyish grin...though he knew he shouldn't have...he should be acting professional...but every time she was around it was like he was a teen again...

It didnt hit her till she looked up and saw a weird look on his face that it hit Raelyn she had called him by his first name and if anybody had heard that they would have suspected something. He was older and her professor but there was something about him that this young girl could not put her finger on. Right now she was trying to think of what to say as just standing there made her nervous. Never before ahd she d a crush on anybody longed to see anybody but with Kristen it was different she wanted to be here but at the same time faught the urge to run off and hide. Oh you dont have to take it easy on me I am ready to whip your butt in pratice.
She told him with a playful grin. She did not want to make it look too obvious about her feelings twords someone who she should not be having these feelings for. Wanting to be playful and silly Raelyn felt it was safe as she reached down and grabbed a handfull of snow and formed it into a ball and threw it right at him aiming for his head. Something told her they both needed to relax and this was the way to do it. Opps im sorry Professor LynchI hope I dont get detention. There she went being silly and playful but that was her she would do anything to lighten up a situation. If she did not do something funny she felt she would sya something stupid. Students and teachers should not have these feelings she should not be thinking of her mentor that way but she was and there was going to be no changing how she really felt.

Kristen gave her a wicked smiled, I'll remember you said that the next time we practice then. He said with a devilious grin, So you better not complain when it's too much for you Raelyn. He told her with a wink, I'll tell you what...when you actually manage to beat me for once...maybe I'll take you out to dinner to celebrate. He said and then blushed. He hadn't meant it to sound like a date...hopefully she wouldn't take it as more than a business thing....he frowned at himself for letting it slip out like that...He really needed to get a handle on himself, she was a student after all.
His head snapped towards her as a snow ball hit him in the face...he wiped the snow away and shot her a frown before lunging forward and pushing her into a snow pile...he slipped on the snow as he pushed her into it and tumbled on top of her...He stared into her eyes for a long moment...forgetting for a moment who she was and how old she was for just a moment in time...he stayed on top of her and stared into her eyes for a long time...he ran a hand through he pretty hair...and then his eyes opened slightly as he realized what he was doing...sitting up quickly and pulling himself to his feet...he took a few steps away from her...I'm sorry...I think...I'm tired or something. He said looking away from her.. He put on his professional face, I'm going to talk with Kasper and have you both meet me in the morning for practice... He said with a professional tone.
