Krystyna sat tucked into a corner, lost in a book. Her blue eyes followed the words slowly. She looked up through her blonde bangs out the window. She ran her fingers through her hair before returning to her book. No matter how hard Krystyna tried she couldn't keep her mind on the book.
This year was just so distracting for her. Everything that was going on with the new students, not to mention problems at home. For the first time in her life Krystyna was finding herself not able to concentrate.
For the first time, Krystyna actually was regretting not really having any friends. Everyone had friends, yet Krystyna didn't. Maybe it was a bad thing that her only friends were books. She had never really regretted it before now.
She sighed, pushed some hair behind her ear and attempted to read once more.

Lisbet ran from the lake towards the school, her water repelling spell was working quite nicely. However she didn't know how well it was going to keep, she could feel the water snaking into her hair, it was fading. The water was touch her sweater. No no no. I'm almost there. She skidded to the door and opened it with a gentle push and she walked in. She was already pretty wet, the spell was weak at best but at least she wasn't soaked to the bone. She was walking when she saw a girl in the corner reading a book. As she walked she had an internal conversation with herself, to stop or not to stop and talk to the girl. As she wasn't paying attention she slipped because her shoes were still wet. She looked up and saw the girl staring at her. She smiled and said, Careful the floor seems to be a bit slippery. Heh. She stood up and walked over to her, Hi! I'm Lisbet.

Krystyna had just gotten back into her book when she heard a loud thump. She looked up from her book and looked around attempting to find the source of the noise. Then the blonde looked down and realized that the sound had come from a young brunette falling onto the floor.
She smiled slightly. "Hello," she said her voice still slightly tinged with a Swedish accent. "My name is Krystyna Bakken." Her slight smile was still frozen on her face. What now? She wondered. She never really knew how to meet new people. She was always extremely shy.
Krystyna placed a marker in her book and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, trying to think of something to say, longing not to embarrass herself.

Aydin was making his way back from the Quidditch pitch, broom over his shoulder, hoping there would be some food in the Great Hall for him to munch on. He had given himself a hard workout, but they had a match coming up and he needed to be in peak condition if Haukstein was going to dominate with as much force as they wanted to. As he walked into the Main Hall on his way to the Great Hall, he noticed two girls engaged in what looked like an awkwardish conversation. Why not intervene and go have some female company? Like he’d ever turn down female company….
He sauntered over, brushing a hand through his hair, trying to make himself look tough and sexy, but…all failed as he got closer to the two girls and he found his foot on a particularly wet spot on the tile floor and slipped, not falling over right away, but not able to catch his balance and sliding a bit, knocking into the wall next to the pretty blonde. Trying to make it look like he meant to do that, he slid down the wall and sat next to her, throwing an arm around her shoulder. [orange]Hey there gorgeous. Come here often? [/orange] He said with a charming smile and a cocky wink.

Krystyna used her book to cover her face as she tried not to laugh at the boy. She kept the book there to cover the blush the was creeping up on her pale cheeks. "I uh.. I.." She stammered slightly. She swore softly to herself in Swedish. She gathered her thoughts and took a deep breath. "Actually usually I read in the common room but today I wanted to look out at our beautiful weather."
She moved her book down to her lap and looked down on it attempting to ignore the arm around her shoulders afraid that if she acknowledged it she would blush again. When it came to hunting in a forest, Krystyna had no problem but when it came to relating to people... she often fell all over herself.

Lisbet smiled, Nice to meet you Krystyna. What house do you belong to? She looked up to see familiar face slip, she laughed and said, Aydin that just happened to me didn't you see it? She watched as he nonchalantly slid down the wall putting his arm around the girl and she shooked her head and tsked. Lisbet's ears perked up when she heard Swedish, Are you from Sweden Krystyna? She smiled, My father has a summer home there. We visit quite often. When she heard the beautiful weather comment she snorted, Its beautiful to look at but not to stand in. She sat on Krystyna's other side and looked at Aydin, she had met him several time and even flew with him sometimes. She looked at the two of them and felt a little out of place. So Aydin how was the quidditch practice?

Aydin smirked at the pretty girl he had no recollection of meeting as she got nervous. It was cute when girls got nervous around him, but he was pretty much used to it by now; girls always got all giggly and cute around him. It came with the territory of being a super awesome quiddtich player, and because he was so damn gorgeous. Sure, Aydin was a tiny bit conceded, but he couldn’t help it, he was who he was. [orange]No, Lisbet, I didn’t see you slip, I think I was still outside for that. But you could have warned me.[/orange] He said, smiling up at her. Sure, Lisbet was a cute girl, but they had known each other forever, and that just made her not his type. He turned his attention back to the girl who was under his arm. [orange]So, what common room would that be, since I know its not mine, or I would have talked to you sooner. [/orange] He gave her a wink, letting her know he was all too interested in her. If she wasn’t interested in him though, it wasn’t going to be the end of the world; he had his eye on quite a few pretty morsels around the school. He was distracted by Lisbet’s question to him, and turned his attention to her again. [orange]Quidditch Practice was great, not like I really needed extra practice, but its always nice to get out and fly every day. [/orange]

Krystyna smiled at the girl. "Yes that was Swedish" she replied. "I was born and raised in Switzerland but my dad dedicated to move so I could go to Durmstrang. He thought it would be a better school for me"
She looked at the boy with his arm around her, trying not to blush. "That would be the Mork Ulv common room. But I am not always there sometimes I read in the upper floors. I like reading by windows." Krystyna rubbed her hands on her jeans. How had she gone so long without really talking to anyone? It was probably because she often avoided people. Normally she would have gotten out of this situation as quickly as she could. Now she was starting to realize that even the Mudbloods had friends and maybe she should start making some friends.
She smiled at the two people in front of her as she listened to them talk about Quidditch. She hated flying, it always scared her. That was one of the few things that actually scared her. She always worried about falling off. Climbing large trees was no problem to her but brooms were unpredictable. Probably part of it had to do with the fact that she fell off a toy broom when she was younger. "So I am guessing that you both play Quidditch? Isn't it scary being that high up in the air on a broom? I would be terrified"

Lisbet smiled at Aydin and said, I figured you should learn your lesson. Warning you would have just been less funny to me. She giggled a little and conjured up 3 glasses of Pumpkin juice and a tray of sandwiches. She knew that Aydin would be hungry after flying, he was always hungry, she had learned this trick when they were third years hanging out by the lake. She took a sip of her goblet filled with yummy goodness and smiled at the two of them. Enjoy Aydin.
She smiled at Krystyna, Oh Switzerland! I love it there. My Uncle lives there. Your father is a smart man, where did you go before? She took a bite of her sandwich and then raised an eyebrow, Mork Ulv, I'm from Sjenert Katt. She laughed at Aydin and said, You always need more practice. I can knock you out with a bludger in ten seconds flat.
She looked at Krystyna, Its not that bad. You afraid of heights??

[orange]Ah, Mork Ulv, nice house. I’m a Haukstein myself and proud of it. [/orange] Aydin said, smirking at her. He looked up at Lisbet as she stated her reason for not warning him. [orange]I’m not here for your amusement, I could have died, and all because you didn’t warn me that you were dripping all over the place. [/orange] He said, sticking his tongue out at her. It was then that she conjured up pumpkin juice and a tray of sandwiches, for which he was most grateful. He remembered that was the reason why he came this way after practice, because he was heading to the Great Hall for a snack, but this was much more convenient. Helping himself to a sandwich, he took his arm off of the pretty blonde and began munching. Lisbet knew him all too well sometimes.
As the two girls were talking about Switzerland or something, Aydin was busy munching, trying to fill his growing teenage boy appetite, which was hard to do on a regular day, but after Quidditch practice it took quite a bit of food. Helping himself to a second sandwich, he took a drink of pumpkin juice and almost spit it out at Lisbet when she laughed at him. [orange]Girl, you must be delusional or something. We both know who the better Quidditch player is, and it’s definitely me. I am also the better looking one, and all around better at most things. [/orange] He said, taking another bite of his sandwich and rolling his eyes at her. She would know he was joking, at least about most of it, since they had been friends for so long. People who were observing would have thought they were related or something, with how much they picked on each other. He turned his attention back to Krystyna and smirked at her. [orange]Its not scary at all. You just gotta learn to trust yourself and your broom. I could take you flying sometime? My broom is big enough for both of us. [/orange] He winked at her. It would be a good excuse to spend time with her away from Lisbet, who was probably killing his game, but if not, it was her loss. Dozens of girls would kill for him to take them up on his broom for a “flying lesson”.

Neko sat in the great hall for a long time with a plate of food in front of him...he was disgusted by what was on it and couldn't imagine actually eating it....he waited till he knew no one was watching and flicked his wand at the plate...causing most of it to disappear...he stood up and collected his messenger bag and through the black strap over his shoulder. He didn't need to eat human food but he had to at least keep up an appearance once in a while in the great hall so people didn't start talking about him.
He walked forward past several pretty Sjenert Katt girls who waved at him as he passed. He gave them a friendly smile in response but was quite sure if his response was good enough...in the other world he would of walked right up and introduced himself and would of probably taken one of the girls home with him...but here in the human world, these girls were fragile...they were not demons, fallen angels or anything else that he could touch...they were fragile..He sighed slightly, though it was an unnatural thing for him to do, he had recently picked up sighing as a form of irritation from the human kids around him... He glanced over his shoulder at one of the pretty dark haired chicks and felt defeated...he couldn't even touch them without being very careful. He wouldn't be able to let himself relax around them...one wrong moment of simple ecstasy and they would be sent into terrifying nightmares...better than what would happen in the future though. Some day probably around a hundred years from now, he would be killing at the touch...
There was only one way around the whole touch thing...and he would have to believe in true love for that to be true. Which as far as he knew...didn't exist. Like, Lust, want...those were true emotions...but love was a fools word to him.
He walked out of the Great hall and his eyes fell upon a group of students near the corner...there was two girls...both were really pretty, but the cute blonde caught his eye more...perhaps more for the reason of whom had his arm wrapped around her shoulders...Aydin.
He felt his eyes lock on to him though he wasn't sure if he even noticed him...The word 'Like' hit him for the first time ever and he couldn't help but feel a natural jealousy towards the girl he had his arms around...she was gorgeous though....something Neko would be all over if he could manage to concentrate on enough to touch her...He really needed to figure out how to control this whole lust thing...in the other world he got what he wanted when he wanted...but it wasn't safe here.
He walked past them a little to an open window ledge near them and crawled up on to it without much trouble....his agility was cat like so he found himself doing the unthinkable in front of humans a lot. Luckily they didn't think more about it than it being awesome that he was agile and athletic.
He stared out of the window quietly...

Alone with my thoughts Lisbet, Neko, and Aydin [/size][/center] Krystyna looked at Lisbet. "I didn't acutally go anywhere before here" She replied. "My father moved me here before I even started school so I have always gone to Durmstrang" Lisbet conjured up the sandwiches and pumpkin juice and Krystyna took one sandwich and a glass of pumpkin juice. She sipped the juice. She always loved her mothers homemade pumpkin juice but this stuff wasn't bad.
When Aydin suggested a flying lesson, Krystyna couldn't decide wither she wanted to laugh or blush at his suggestion. I barley passed my flying class my first year. I don't know if more lessons would help or just scare me more. Its not the heights I am scared of... I am just worried about the way the broom acts. Its not like an animal. You can always guess an animals next move but a broom? They are so unpredictable. Anything could happen... Krystyna tried to push the memory of when she was younger out of her head. Even though it had been over 10 years since she fell off that broom it still haunted her. It was bad enough her father tried to suggest that she got a Healers note to be dismissed from the class but the one of the things that Krystyna did not believe in was the idea of giving up.
When the Raven haired boy walked into the room, Krystyna looked at him. She cocked her head to he side slightly. She watched him as he slowly moved and then climbed into the window. There was something about the way he moved... she was intrigued. She wasn't sure what it was, maybe attraction, maybe it was just her hunter instinct. She wasn't really sure. After a moment she pulled her eyes away from him and brought herself back to the conversation at hand. She looked at Lisbet and Aydin. Had they said something and she missed it? She wasn't sure. She looked at them hoping if they did say something they would say it again. Just to be safe she said, "What?"

Lisbet looked at how Aydin's arm was around Krystyna's shoulders and she felt a pang of jealousy. Aydin didn't know what he meant to her. She couldn't help but feel jealous, Aydin was her best friend and had been for years. Sure they lived in different houses but they were still really close. What hurt the most was that he didn't see it, she adored him, she always tried to make him as comfortable as possible. Point in case was with the sandwiches and drinks. I'm amazed that I have never seen you before. She took a bite of sandwich and a sip of her drink. Her attention turned to Aydin. When he spoke about dying she rolled her eyes back into her character of just caring about him as a friend, Do you really think that I would have let you die? You're my best friend Aydin. I'd have saved you if it were fatal. Stop being such a drama queen. She smiled and then looked down at the ground. When she heard Aydin's comment about him being a better flyer she scoffed, when she heard that he was the better looking one her heart fell, HAHAHAHAHA yeah right! What ever! I'm better than you in more things than you know! She smiled a half hearted smile and sighed. She looked at Krystyna and said The thing is a Broom is a lot like an animal. It can feel your emotions. Did you know that? As she spoke she turned to see Neko walking by, she saw who he was staring at and she felt a pang. Was everyone looking at Aydin as she did? She sighed and took a bite of her sandwich and mumbled. Hello Neko. How are you on this dreary day? She gave him a friendly smile. Huh? Oh nothing I was just speaking to Neko. Then she heard the fateful words that she had been dreading to hear since the conversation of flying started Its not scary at all. You just gotta learn to trust yourself and your broom. I could take you flying sometime? My broom is big enough for both of us. She saw him wink at Krystyna and felt another pang of jealousy. It hurt her because she knew that he just wanted to have some one on one time. She knew his lingo. He thought she was dampering his chance with Krystyna if she was vindictive she would volunteer to help him out but NOOOO She could TAKE a hint! She knew many girls who would kill to be in Krystyna's position...like her for one. She looked at her watch and tapped her fingers on her knee. She didn't want to be with people all of a sudden.

[orange]I don’t know what you would have done, but knowing you if I fell and died you would have laughed. [/orange] Aydin said to Lisbet as she tried to get all buddy buddy with him. Sure Lisbet was his best friend, and had been for a long time, but they rarely ever acted like it, especially when other people were around. Sure, he loved her, but only as a friend. They had been through so much together he thought he could only see her as a friend, and he figured that’s how she saw him as well. [orange]And get out of your delusional state; I am clearly better than you, at everything. And if you have any doubts I’ll beat you in a race around the pitch later…again. Just like I did last time you doubted my skills. [/orange] He smirked at her. They were usually evenly matched when it came to flying, but for some reason he passed her at the last second and won during their last race. He had the sneaking suspicion that she let him win, but he would never ask and she would probably never admit it.
Aydin smiled at Krystyna as she told him she barely passed her flying lesson. He remembered his first flying class, flying came more naturally to him than walking and ever since that day he had been on the quiddich team. [orange]More lessons couldn’t hurt, especially with an amazing teacher like me helping you out. [/orange] If things went the way he wanted them to, the lessons wouldn’t be as much about flying as they would about Aydin getting to know this girl more, without anyone else around, high up in the air where no one could see them.
As Aydin reached for another sandwich on the tray, a familiar shape caught his eye and he actually dropped the sandwich back on the plate. He green eyes locked on Neko as he hopped onto the open ledge and he couldn’t look away. He had been noticing Neko a lot lately, as he seemed to be in basically all of his classes, not that he was complaining. He was a treat to look at and he really wanted to talk to him more, but fate hadn’t really given them that chance just yet. As he stared, he basically forgot that he was sitting with Krystyna and Lisbet until he was snapped back into reality by them both speaking. He didn’t really hear them, but the fact that they said something made him realize he should be listening. If now wasn’t a good time to talk to Neko, however, no time would be, so he did what he figured he should do. [orange]Hey Neko…[/orange] Aydin called over to him. [orange]Why not come over here and hang out…we got snacks…[/orange] He said with a smirk, hoping snacks would be enough to bring him over…if not, he might just have to leave the two girls behind and go talk to him over by the window.

Neko heard someone speak his name as he got comfortable in the window but he didn't pay any attention to the girl...she was in his house but Neko hadn't talked to her before so it seemed kinda awkward to say hello randomly like that...he really wasn't sure why she called him out like that but he stared down at the grounds. His attention on all the kids walking the grounds below...he couldn't help but feel like a predator as he stared down on them. Neko's eyes broke from the window as he heard Aydin speak....his voice sounded good in his ears but even more so than normal. Perhaps because this time, his words were directed towards him. He wasn't sure how to respond at first but he knew he needed to say something before it got awkward. He locked eyes on Aydin and smirked, I'm afraid I have just ate but I suppose if what your really asking is for me to accompany you I shall. He said with his blue eyes enticed by Aydin's green ones...
He stood up on the ledge with his eyes still locked on Aydin's and jumped lightly down like a cat landing smoothly on his feet. He froze for a slight moment realizing most people didn't jump off heights like that and land so smoothly on their feet. He forced himself to remain calm and moved forward...forcing himself to give the fake rhythmical breathing the humans did. He sat between Aydin and the girl he thought was named Lisbet...making sure to avoid physical contact with either of them as he did...he sat quietly for a few seconds...
