 Dylan waddled into the great hall. It was breakfast time and she was starving. Every morning was the same, she would wake up like she had not eating in a week. Her stomach growled as she made her way to a table. Since it was a weekend students were able to sit at which ever table they wanted. Dylan chose one of the middle tables and started to fill her plate. This morning she went for a full english breakfast. A fry up sounded amazing right about now. Before she began eating Dylan realised she hadn't spoken to Shaylin in a while. She knew the reason was mainly Cayden. It was awkward being around her and not being able to be completely honest with her. Maybe she should ask her to come join her for breakfast and just have a girlie chat. Dylan loved a good gossip.
Dylan summoned her owl, quickly wrote a note to Shaylin, asking her to meet her in the great hall for breakfast. Maybe they could head into town afterwards to do abit of shopping who knows. Dylan attached the note to her owl and sent him on his way. Turning back to her plate, Dylan picked up a bit of toast and took a bite. "Mmmm." [/color] Dylan said to herself as if it was the first time she had ever eaten. Once she had finished off the bit of toast she began to start on the full english breakfast. Now that Dylan had a reason to eat a hell of a lot of food she didn't really mind getting odd looks. Sometimes it was tough being a girl. Dylan grabbed herself a cup of pumpkin juice and took a sip. She was actually getting used to pumpkin juice now. When she first tried it she didn't like it but since it was pretty much the only decent juice served, she was now getting used to it.[/blockquote] |

Even though it was Saturday and it was pretty early, Shay was awake already. She almost never slept in unless she hadn’t gotten any sleep the night before but last night she slept amazingly well. Zakaria had come to watch over her in the night like he always did, but last night all she wanted was to sleep in his arms the entire night…so that’s what she did and it was amazing. He had kissed her goodbye when the sun was nearing rising though, like he always did, and she would miss him every second until she saw him again that night. It was an annoying cycle, but she loved him and he loved her so she just learned to deal with it. This morning though, when she woke again, she was woken up by Calisto batting her nose with her paw. It was adorable, and even though she interrupted Shay from some wonderful dreams, she could never be mad at her. Calisto was like an adorable little alarm clock.
Shaylyn couldn’t help but notice though, that her adorable little kitten seemed sad lately. She knew exactly why, but there was no way she could really fix it though. Calisto missed Adara, Cayden’s kitten. They had been adopted together and spend every possible second they could together in the months Shay had been with Cayden but now that they were broken up, they got cut off cold turkey. She felt so bad for Calisto and wondered if Adara felt the same, but it wasn’t like she could set up a play date or something…that would just give Cayden an edge up on her…he might even take her kitty hostage or something for all she knew and she definitely wouldn’t let that happen. As she lay on her stomach swinging a toy around for Calisto, who was happily batting it around, she heard a tapping at her window. Looking over, she saw Dylan’s owl. It had been awhile since the two of them had hung out and she missed her. Rushing over to the window, she gave a treat to the owl, took the letter and read it over. Meet for breakfast? That sounded like a fun time.
Shay quickly got dressed and was in the process of leaving for breakfast when Calisto looked up at her with her adorable eyes sadly. Shay would feel so bad just leaving her here, so she picked her up and brought her with. Dylan surely wouldn’t mind. As she reached the Great Hall, she saw Dylan sitting at one of the tables and plopped down across from her. Goooood morning! She said with a smile, placing Calisto gently on the table and handing her a small piece of bacon to amuse herself with. How are you two this morning? She asked excitedly about herself and the baby that was clearly getting close to escaping her womb.

Dylan had just finished eating her bacon when Shaylyn turned up. She appeared to be in a very good mood. Dylan smiled, a happy smile, something she hadn't done in a while. She had missed Shaylyn, but both had been busy. Once Dylan had swallowed her final piece of bacon she took a small sip of juice and greeted her friend. "Well Goooood morning yourself. Someone is in a good mood." [/color] She said laughing a little. Dylan took a bite out of her sausage and looked up at Shaylyn when she asked how her and the baby were. "We're good. I'm having a girl by the way."[/color] Said Dylan grinning like a Cheshire cat. She couldn't help but bounce up and down in her seat a little. She was so happy that she was having a girl. She had always wanted a girl. But if the baby was a bot that would make no difference. She would still love the baby either way and give the baby everything it deserved. "I've only got two months left. And......I know this is kind of awkward and you may not want to and you don't have to but,.......well.......since I got no one else to be with me when I go into labor would you be there with me please?"[/color] Asked Dylan hopefully. She would understand if Shaylyn didn't want to be there. Giving birth wasn't easy to witness but she really wanted someone she trusted to be there with her and at the moment she only had Shaylyn. Dylan sat in her chair, watching Shaylyn, to see her reaction. She hoped she wouldn't freak out because she really was not pressuring her to be there. Dylan just hoped she would be as Shaylyn was her best friend, even if she was dating Cayden. Atleast that is what Dylan thought. She wasn't aware that Cayden and Shaylyn had broken up at the moment.[/blockquote] |

Shaylyn poked Calisto gently on the nose as she waited for Dylan to finish chewing her food and drink some juice. She smiled brightly when she noticed that Shay was indeed in a good mood. Of course I’m in a good mood. You know me, I’m always like this. She said smiling, looking over the food at the table and wondering if she was hungry enough to eat anything yet. You look like you’re in a good mood yourself. She said as she noticed Dylan actually smiling and laughing. It wasn’t like Dylan was a depressed person, but whenever she saw her in the halls or in class, she never really seemed to be happy. Shay felt bad that the two of them hadn’t been able to hang out very often lately, but then again that totally wasn’t Shay’s fault. If anyone was to blame it was Cayden, since because of him Shay always had to be in the vicinity of someone who could jump to her aid if necessary….which was really annoying. Shay couldn’t help but squeal when Dylan said she was having a girl. She had a feeling that was what it was but now that she knew, she couldn’t say she wasn’t excited. Awww I knew it! That’s so cute! I need to buy you some pink things now. She said excitedly. She couldn’t wait to meet this new baby girl.
As Dylan began to speak again, Shay decided to grab a piece of bacon, nibbling on it as she listened. But when she was asked to be with her when the baby was born, she couldn’t really express how happy she was. Oh my goodness, really? I’d be happy to be there for you! I’ve always wanted to see a baby being born. Aww now I’m even more excited. She said smiling brightly, clapping a couple of times.

It was true Shaylyn was usually always in a good mood, she was a very bubbly person. But today she seemed to be even more happier. Maybe there was a reason and Dylan was going to find out, or at least try to. "Yes you are always happy but it seems as though there is a reason as to why you are very happy." [/color] Said Dylan teasing Shay a little. Dylan soon finished off her brekafast, which went down nicely. Now she felt full, but for how long. Dylan mentally rolled her eyes at that thought. Again Dylan smiled and laughed at Shaylyn's reaction to her telling her that she was having a girl. To be honest Dylan suspected she was going to have a girl aswell. She wasn't sure if it was her werewolf ability or just a feeling she had. "Awwww you don't have to buy anything, but yeah pink stuff would be good."[/color] Laughed Dylan. It was so good to just hang out with Shaylyn and there be no awkward tension between them because of a certain someone. As a matter of fact Dylan still had to tell Shay that Cayden was the father. perhaps now would be a good time. Well it would be if she wasn't so excited about being there for the birth. But she was glad that Shaylyn had said she would be there for her. Dylan smiled and finished off her juice. "Really? Cos I've seen the vids of a natural birth and it looks terrifying. Not to mention painful."[/color] Said Dylan smirking. "I'm glad your going to be there though."[/color] Said Dylan smiling at her best friend. Dylan was so glad to have Shay as a friend. She was a true friend and someone you could rely on when you needed her. "There is something else I need to tell you. I have been wanting to for a while now but I have never been able to."[/color] Dylan paused and looked up at Shaylyn, nervous. She had no idea how this was going to go. Shaylyn seemed pretty loved up with Cayden the last time she saw them together, so this was not going to be easy for her to hear. "I know I said I didn't really know who the father was, which was kinda true, I mean he gave me a fake name so that's why I didn't really know. Anyway, it's Cayden."[/color] Said Dylan quickly. There, now it was out all she was waiting for now was Shay's reaction. She hoped she wouldn't hate her.[/blockquote] ((At the moment Dylan doesn't know that Shay and Cayden broke up. lol. )) |

Well, maybe there’s a reason. Shay said before taking a sip of juice that she poured for herself. I just…woke up in a good mood after a rather good night. She said with a happy sigh. Sure, she hadn’t told Dylan about Zakaria yet but she would eventually. Here in the Great Hall wasn’t the best place to tell her though since he was a member of the staff and a great deal older than her, it could get them both into a lot of trouble if anyone found out. Of course I have to buy her things. You’re my bestest friend and that’s what friends are supposed to do I guess. But yes, prepared to have your baby spoiled rotten by me. She said with a huge smile. Even though she never really had a reason to shop for baby clothes ever, Shay always loved looking at them in stores and such so now that she actually had a reason to look through and purchase some of the adorable things she had seen, she probably wasn’t going to hold back.
Dylan seemed surprised that Shay actually wanted to be there for the birth. What kind of friend would she be if she turned down her best friend when she was going to need her most? That just wasn’t nice of anyone. Maybe it’s just the healer in me that really wants to see a baby being born in person. Since well, eventually that will be part of my job. But you know I’ll always be there whenever you need me. No matter what hun. She said, giving her a sweet smile. Dylan’s tone changed though, when she told Shay she had something important to tell her. She wondered what it could possibly be. Sure, it had been awhile since they talked but they really told each other everything when they did talk so this being a secret that she had been holding in for a while was a bit distressing. Shay listened carefully, hanging on every word that Dylan was telling her. Yes it was true that when Shay asked who the father was the first time, Dylan told her she didn’t know…but now she did. For some reason, Shay took this time to take a sip of juice and when the name was revealed to her, she couldn’t help but swallow it wrong and cough because of it. It took a couple of seconds for her to recover from the cough and also comprehend what she had just been told. Cayden was the father of Dylan’s baby. Did he know this? And if he did, he hadn’t told her after all the time they had dated. Her eyes were wide and she blinked a few times to figure out what she was going to say. She wasn’t mad at Dylan by any means since this happened before they even met and everything but…this troubled her for some reason. Wow…that was probably the last name that I expected you to say. But well, with the way he is it really doesn’t surprise me… She thought back to the first time Shay and Cayden had well, done it. She could have very well gotten pregnant because he forgot to use protection. Does he know? She asked.

There was definitely something up with Shaylyn and Dylan was determined to find out what it was. Ofcourse she couldn't force Shay to tell her, but she was sure as hell going to try and get it out of her. It's what friends did. "You gunna tell me the reason?" [/color] Asked Dylan giving Shaylyn a cheeky smile. Dylan smiled again. She loved Shay like a sister, and that was what she needed. Her family was back in England so having Shay here really helped. Dylan visited her family over the holidays but she missed them like crazy during term time. Her family couldn't move here because her mother and father both worked in England, but they wrote all the time so it wasn't too bad. "My daughter is going to be a spoiled brat isn't she."[/color] Joked Dylan. Yes she would be spoiled but there were going to be boundaries. Dylan smiled as Shaylyn told her she would be there for her. "Thanks."[/color] She said. Dylan would have hugged Shaylyn if it weren't for the big oak table in the way. Dylan had now finished her breakfast and was just munching on a slice of toast when a thought hit her. "Hey why don't we go into town and do abit of shopping?"[/color] Suggested Dylan. When Dylan told Shay who the father was, she half expected Shaylyn to be angry and have a go at her. Cayden was her boyfriend after all, even though Cayden and Dylan slept together way before Durmstrang, she had still slept with Cayden. Shaylyn seemed to choke on her juice and Dylan offered her a napkin to clean herself up with. Dylan sighed a sigh of relief when Shaylyn didn't go mad. "Yes he knows. I told him a while ago actually, but he doesn't believe the baby is his. he said he wants a test to be done once the baby is born and if the baby is his, then he'll be involved."[/color] Said Dylan finishing off her toast. She avoided telling Shay that he had threatened to take the baby away from her if the baby was his.[/blockquote] |

Shaylyn felt bad for not telling her about Zakaria sooner, and the fact that she didn’t know made it hard for her to tell her why she was in such a good mood. She wanted to explain her mood to Dylan, because she knew she was trying to get it out of her, but she wasn’t sure if this was even the right time or place to bring it up. Well, let’s just say…I had an amazing night with my boyfriend…I can’t tell you more about it in here really...you’ll have to wait until we’re out of the Great Hall to hear more. She said as she took a sip of juice. It was bugging her, not being able to tell Dylan about everything that had happened between the last time they had talked and now, but if she told her here and someone heard, both Shay and Zak could get into a lot of trouble. She couldn’t help but laugh though when Dylan said her daughter was going to be spoiled. She definitely is…I know I’m going to spoil her as much as I possibly can and I know you are as well…so yeah…spoiled. She said with a huge smile.
Ever since the whole thing with Cayden happened, Shay really didn’t have a lot of friends to hang out with really. She spent most of her days either in class or alone in her room trying to avoid Cayden, so being able to actually spend time with someone, especially her best friend was like a breath of fresh air. Sure, shopping sounds like a great idea actually. I haven’t been out of the castle in ages. The next thing Dylan said though, took her way by surprise and as Shay choked on her juice a bit, she gladly accepted the napkin she was offered to make sure she didn’t get any all over the place. Well, I’m sure the baby is his if you say it is. He shouldn’t need a test to confirm that. I’m glad he at least gonna be involved once he is sure the baby is his. He should be there either way…even now. She said with a slight frown.

Dylan gave Shaylyn a fake dirty look and then stuck her tongue out at her. "Fine, but as soon as we're out of the great hall you need to spill." [/color] Said Dylan laughing a little. Well if it was that much of a secret maybe they could wait until they were off school grounds for Shaylyn to tell her what the hell was up. It was odd that Shaylyn would say she had a great night with her boyfriend rather than say she had a great night with Cayden. Dylan didn't think about it too much. Shaylyn would tell her soon enough, anyway she was happy that Shay was happy. "My daughter is going to be a diva. Great."[/color] Said Dylan and then burst out laughing. It was most likely that she would be. If she was going to be the center of everyone's attention then ofcourse she was going to be a diva. "Me neither. I've been swamped with homework but Dantais, I mean professor Knight has been helping me alot."[/color] Said Dylan smirking to herself a little. Nothing had happened between them but Dylan had to admit she was getting a little bit (huge) crush on him. Dylan didn't think it was anything serious though. It was just your typical school girl crush on teacher thing that happens to everyone at some point in their teen lives. Her smile dropped a little. She had wanted Cayden to help her, in a supportive way only but he hadn't and it had been so difficult these last few months. "Yeah well his not helping at the moment so, whatever."[/color] Said Dylan shrugging a little. "Maybe professor Stark will be able to help him see sense. Adonis owled me wanting to talk about my situation, so maybe he can help. I got to meet him in Animagi next week."[/color] Said Dylan again shrugging.[/blockquote] |

Shay couldn’t help but smile as Dylan faked looking offended and stuck her tongue out at her for not telling. She would definitely tell her what was going on, just as soon as they were outside because that’s what best friends did, but while they were still inside it wasn’t safe to tell. She was sure at least some people knew…Skylar knew of course and Cayden probably guessed by now…and that worried her. But why he hadn’t told anyone was truly a mystery. That was when it dawned on her that Dylan didn’t know about what had happened between her and Cayden. It had really been that long since they talked…Of course I’ll tell you. But I just realized…I didn’t tell you that me and Cayden broke up, like, horribly. I met someone new…which is who I have to tell you about. She said with a smile, while she was blushing like crazy.
Shay couldn’t help but notice Dylan slip up by calling their Defense teacher by his first name which really wasn’t something most people did unless they got to know them on a personal level. Dantais huh…? Does someone have a teacher crush? Shay asked excitedly, resting her chin in her hand as she smiled at Dylan. Almost every school girl had a crush on a teacher at one point; it really was just a part of growing up so if Dylan had a crush on Professor Knight it wasn’t really a big deal. Shay frowned as Dylan told her how he still wasn’t helping her but that she hoped his brother would help him come to his senses. I hope so…Professor Stark seems like a nice guy and I’m sure after he sits down with you he’ll have a talk with Cayden and he’ll be more involved. He really should be in the babies life, even right now. She said, looking down at Dylan’s belly for a moment. She was getting so huge…it would only be a little while longer before she was ready to have the baby and Shay was so excited for that to happen.

Dylan couldn't remember seeing Shaylyn this happy, maybe when she first got with Cayden, to Dylan's horror. At the time Dylan wanted to tell Shaylyn to be careful and such but she had her baby to think about. He had threatened to take the child away from her once the baby was born, so she was trying her hardest not to piss him off even more. Hopefully he would come around and accept he was going to be a dad and support her. Not financially, she didn't want or need his money, just support her in a father way. For their baby. Dylan's eyes widened though when Shaylyn told her that her and Cayden had broken up. "Really? how long ago was this?" [/color] Asked Dylan, ignoring the fact that Shaylyn had just told her she was now with someone else. There was so much that Dylan needed to tell her about what had happened between her and Dantais. Well it wasn't alot really, but there was definitely something happening, but she couldn't tell her here. Dylan smirked and blushed even more as Shaylyn called her out on her crush. "Wha....ha...no. I...I mean you know......He's.....you know."[/color] Said Dylan completely lost for words. She would be rubbish if she had been captured and was being tortured for information. Thankfully Shaylyn changed the subject to their Animagi professor. "Yeah I hope so. Cayden seems pretty close to Professor Stark so hopefully he can encourage Cayden to step up."[/color] Said Dylan sighing a little. Anyway she didn't want to dawn on her problems. She wanted to hang out with her best friend and gossip. "Ok, so are you finish? I wanna go shopping and get some hot new outfits for when I get my figure back."[/color] Said Dylan winking at Shaylyn and laughing.[/blockquote] |

Dylan actually seemed surprised when Shay told her that she and Cayden had broken up quite some time ago. It seemed to surprise a lot of people when she told them that and she really had no idea why. Maybe they were good together, she really had no idea but she was glad they broke up because if they didn’t she wouldn’t be with Zakaria right now. Um…I’m not really sure how long ago it was…Beginning of November was when we broke up so…however long ago that was. She wasn’t really keeping track of how long it had been since everything had happened. She was just taking everything one day at time really.
From the way Dylan reacted when Shay called out her teacher crush, she knew that she totally had one, no matter how much she tried to deny it. Aww that’s so cute. Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone. She said with a smirk. It’s not really a big deal though…everyone gets a teacher crush at some point. She said with a shrug, finishing off the juice she had been drinking. As the conversation switched back to Cayden and Adonis, Shay just shrugged. Hopefully, since that would be the ideal situation, but I have the feeling that he’s just going to have to come to terms with everything on his own time…but eventually he will step up. She said, trying to give her a reassuring smile. Yeah, I’m done. Let’s get going then. She said, standing up and waiting for Dylan to get situated and ready to go.
