Sophie took the note that was handed to her in class and sighed. These teachers were all the same; assuming it was her that did wahtever needed punishing for doing. She had to admit, a lot of times she was the one at fault, however, today she wasn't. She had actually kept to herself, mind and all, while two other girls went at it verbally during class. Things got out of control and Sophie finall yelled at them all to sit down and shut up, they were interfering with her learning. She'd grabbed both girls by the hair and lead them back to their seats. Of course, Sophie was at fault for what? The entire thing.
She smiled sassily at the teacher and took the note, walking out of class. Eyes were on her, and she could feel them nearly burning holes into her back. They were such intense glares of hatred half the time. "Oh, don't glare and stare, boys and girls. You never know what you might be doing to someone emotionally with your taunts." She said in a sing song voice, smiling at the teacher as she left the room. The halls were dark and lit by the candles. Her shoes clicked on the stone floor as she made her way down the hall. She read the note. It truly and honestly said to report to Adonis. Well that's stupid. LIke Adonis would truly care, especially if he found out she had nothing to do with anything. But as she kept reading, it said she had two nights of detention. Frowning, she thought about how she would get out of those.
Sophie pocketed the note and headed to the dungeons. Her favorite place in the school was the dungeons or the potions classroom. It had everything in it she could possibly need or want. Soon enough she was face to face with the office door belonging to Adonis. She sighed and brought her hand up, knocking quite loudly."Adonis. Whatever they told you I did, I didn't do it.....this time." she said, waiting for him to allow her to come in or open the door himself, either way. She figured if she started out with a confrontation like that, he wouldn't be surprised. This time it truly wasn't her fault, so she should be praised, so she thought anyway.

Adonis sighed as he cleaned his cauldron from the potion that he had made in earlier in the day. He had to scrub a little harder to get rid of the slug goo at the bottom of the cauldron. He frowned slightly and scrubbed a bit harder, this time the goo came up smoothly and he sighed in relief. He put the cauldron back on the table and turned as someone started to band on the door to the class room...he voice echoed and he frowned slightly... He couldn't help but be pissed this time at her. She had completely disobeyed him this time...whether she was going to admit it or not. Come in Sophie and sit. He said flicking his wand at the door so that it opened. He sat down on top of his own desk and waited for her to do the same, We need to talk little one. He told her as he pulled out a letter from the inside of his jeans he opened and read, One of your students has recently purchased some alarming ingredients from my shop...the list includes Asphadel, Wormwood, Valerian Roots, and Sopophorous Bean. I felt the need to inform you because obviously such ingredients in the hands of a student can be very very dangerous. He looked back up at Sophie as he folded the letter and placed it in his pocket again, I want and explanation and I mean now. What are you dabbling in and who are you planning on testing this potion on? He asked her through his teeth.
Adonis was laid back most of the time....but Sophie could be a bit violent towards here peers and her having such ingredients in her possession was a terrible thing...

Sophie grinned, just slightly, when the door opened. She'd come to really enjoy being part of the Stark family. Immediately, the door opened and Adonis's office was revealed. She smiled when she came in and sat down, keeping her mouth shut. Typically, she'd have something sassy or snotty to say, but not this time. Her smile faded and a furrow showed on her brow as Adonis pulled a note from his pocket. As he read it, she was forming about 5 different things to do to that store clerk in the town. He had no right to actually contact Adonis. Sophie doubted the idiot clerk saw through her lie; he was just being nosey and meddling.
So....he wasn't upset about class. She ignored the nearly burning note in her own pocket and glared at the one Adonis held. Sophie had been expecting a whole ordeal about the fight in class...this was different. And quite irritating. So Sophie formed two thoughts. ONe was a lie that could potentially work, if it hadn't been Adonis. The other was a truth that was so detailed she might just get her way. Sophie sighed and stared at the note, then looked up at Adonis, shrugging. "Lauren Hansen. From Isbjorn." She started, clenching her own teeth and getting quite angry. "Adonis, I'm a halfblood...I"m always going to be. And that bitch, Lauren, started saying things. I had to stop her." This time a slow, crooked grin spread across Sophie's face. "She's been in the hospital wing for a month now. I've been giving her the Draught of Living Death every day since then. Payback's a bitch," she grinned, shrugging once again. Sure, it sometimes sounded petty, but it was fun for Sophie. Even if she had to quit giving Lauren the potion, she's now a month behind in classes. That alone satisfied Sophie...to a point. "The ingredients are gone, though. Gave her the potion this morning." She was proud of herself that Adonis hadn't known for a month about her goings on. Again, Sophie grinned, wanting badly to burst out laughing.

Adonis frowned as she told her side of the story. He himself was also a half blood so he knew the way some people looked down at half bloods...he himself was have pure and half Veela but most people thought he was pureblood. Most thought since Cayden was pure blooded that he was too but in truth they had different mothers...Adonis had a gorgeous Veela mother and Cayden a strict pure blood mother. He sighed at Sophie as she continued her side of the story. He smirked slightly, You do realize with that sort of behavior I could expel you? Poisoning a girl Sophie? Really? You know how strongly I am against anything that may jeopardize your future. If you get expelled your future will be nothing worthwhile. He said with a sigh as he looked into her eyes, If I find out your still poisoning her I will buy you nothing for Christmas. He told her with a raised eyebrow... Not only that but you will spend the entire holiday alone at the school...Do you understand me? He said in a firm tone. He would hate to do that to her but if it meant keeping her from getting her self expelled then he had no choice, I adore you hun...you know I do but I can not have you risking your schooling. Your lucky that the letter came to my hands instead of Jayden. He told her with a deep frown. He loved Sophie so much like a little sister but sometimes she really drove him insane trying to protect her. He put his head in his hands for a long moment. Her acting out and poisoning people was really a disappointment to him. He wanted her to be stronger...to not let other's comments get to her, but she was still young and hormonal.

Sophie listened to Adonis as she sat in the chair across from him. It was true, Adonis always wanted the best future for her and Cayden. Of course she knew that, too, but she couldn't help herself. Revenge was built into her personality. She didn't know why, but if revenge was to be had, then revenge must be poured out. As Adonis continued his speech, Sophie's eyes slightly widened. There was no way she was spending her holiday at the school. She wanted to go home to her bedroom, and enjoy staying up late with Cayden on Christmas Eve for kicks. Not to mention certain gifts she was hoping for from Adonis and Kasey. SUre, it sounded selfish, but really it was the holiday in general. Before she met the Stark's, she'd hated holidays. SHe never had anyone to spend them with and they were family events. So when Adonis threatened to leave her at the school, Sophie stared at him, wide eyed.
The thought of the letter going to Jayden immediately put a knot in her stomach. It wasn't that she was afraid to get in trouble or anything, she did that all the time. It was the fact that if Jayden had gotten it, she would have indeed been expelled. "Fine. I'll stop," she muttered, looking at the desk in front of her and picking at it with her fingernail. "Don't leave me here. All the misfits stay at school for the holiday," she muttered, flinching slightly as a splinter from the desk pricked her finger. A tiny bubble of blood was revealed. Sophie wiped it on her robes and looked at Adonis.

Adonis felt relief hit him in the stomach as she agreed to stop poisoning the girl. He hated having to threaten her with taking Christmas away from her but if he had to do it he would. This Christmas would be the first one as an entire family. It was so nice to have Kasey back in his life and the mere idea of not spending the holidays together now that the family was whole bothered him deeply. He would do anything though if it meant keeping his little Sophie out of trouble. He glanced at her as she pricked her finger and wiped the blood away on the desk, I'm glad you see it my way. I would really hate to leave you here. Your family to me...and the idea of leaving you alone here with all the rift raft deeply bothers me...but if I have to do it I will...I would do anything to make sure you exceed... You are growing up into an excellent witch...but you still have a ways to go...and getting yourself expelled will ruin everything. He said as he looked into her dark eyes. What else have you been up to lately? He asked her. Please tell me you've made friends are went on some dates? He asked her...hoping she would mention something... he hated how much of a loner she seemed to be...

Sophie sighed. So the moment of fear that she would be left behind was gone. She could sit comfortably now. However, the question of what she'd been up to and who she'd been up to with were difficult qestions. She'd definitely been hanging out with a couple of people, but neither were really friends. Still very near aquaintances. Sophie figured she could very easily lie, or at least go around about the truth. But this was Adonis; he wanted the best for Sophie, or so he said. Sophie honestly doubted it sometimes. There had to be a catch somewhere, she only had to find it.
"I've been...studying with Shay. Torturing some house elves. Um....trying to get my seat back from Cole in potions, and giving my soul over to Kastiel. Pretty daily living if yo ask me," she said blandly, looking down at her hands. She really did lead a boring life. However, she wasn't going to tell Adonis that she was currently crushing on Cole, on not quite sure how to go about dealing with Kastiel, who also held her interest. Her initial thought was to deal with Kastiel as a coworker of sorts, whatever that might entail, while actually having a relationship with Cole, if that indeed ever got to that point. The boy was clearly very slow, though. "Don't worry, Adonis. I have so many plans lined up it's impossible to mess anything up." She said, shrugging and tapping a jar on his desk full of dead cockroaches.

Adonis listened closely as she answered his hopeful question on her actually getting along with other students and bonding. He smiled slightly as she mentioned studying with Shaylyn. It was such a pity she and Cayden hadn't worked out, he had actually begun to believe that Cayden was settling down some...but apparently Shay wasn't the right girl for him...though he wasn't given many details on why they broke up in the first place. Shaylyn was a good girl to have around Sophie and excellent influence for her. Torturing house elves was something he also had enjoyed when he had been a student so it was no surprise she found the hobby enjoyable as well. Trying to get her seat back from Cole in potions? He had noticed the strangeness between them during his class. Her next words confused him slighlty though...giving her soul to Kastiel? Shouldn't she date him or something before giving her soul away to some boy? He frowned at this. Her comment about daily life made him huff slightly before he responded to her...he tried to recap on all of it and not jump into questions right away...playing the cool 'parental figure' before jumping on her for the strangeness of some of the things she said. I don't think any day of yours could be considered every day life...you are far from normal. I am really excited to hear your spending time with Shaylyn...she's an excellent student though her abilities in the dark arts are sad she is an excellent potions student. I think you would do well to make a friend of her. It's kinda sad that her and Cayden didn't work out though...Although, he's already moved on so I doubt he's that heartbroken about it anyways. He paused to give her a smirk. Please tell me your harassed the old fat one with the crooked ear? He was my favorite house elf to torture in my youth. He gave her a smile. I did notice how Cole and you were behaving during my potion's class...seems like you may fancy him? He asked though he already was sure she did whether she admitted it or not..he knew her better than anyone else did. However...if you do fancy him why are you giving your soul to Kastiel? I mean if your planning on being faithful to Kastiel should you really be flirting with Cole in my Potion's class? He asked curiously. It was strange the way she said soul instead of promising herself...but she probably just meant herself right? You've been rather busy and social...I like that. He said with a wink.

Sophie couldn't help but smile widely at Adonis's words. She aimed to please him. She couldn't please Severus, so she had to please Adonis. No, she didn't have to please anyone but herself. There was an underlying doubt once again as Sophie started to suppress that smile. She'd gotten too close to Adonis. He knew her too well. The closer she got, the more vulnerable she was. Although she was thinking these things and was close to just getting up and leaving, there was a certain loyalty and gratefulness that she also felt.
Again, the smile crept up. "Shay is boring, Adonis. A good girl, sure, but boring. I very nearly have to drag her into all my games." She caught his eye, then continued, on a different note. "Cole? He took my seat. How does that make me like him?" she asked snottily. Okay, so she had liked him. But he was ridiculously slow and like Shay, boring. Too good, too slow. Sophie was wild, did what she wanted, and enjoyed a fight in the process. "He's cute. But not for me." She said, leaning back in the chair and crossing her arms over her chest. "Now, Kastiel. He has something I want." She said nastily, clenching her teeth and looking intensely at the desk separating Adonis and herself. "He has lots of things I want. And it's only a matter of time before I get them. I'm still formulating the plan. Flirting with Cole was before Kastiel showed up with...what I need. Neither boy really knows about the other, so it doesn't matter yet. Nothing has to stop...yet. Something has to give somewhere first." She said, nearly talking to herself rather than Adonis. She let her gaze slowly move toward his eyes. "I've been social, yes. But also rather cunning, I think." She smiled. "That elf is mean. And he'll get his comeuppance soon enough. For the both of us." Adonis couldn't help but laugh at her Shay comment...Maybe you need a little boring in your life...someone to go shopping with and talk about boys, eh? I would think about it at the very least. He smirked at her comment about Cole, Fine, Sophie you don't like him...seemed to be a lot of frustration between the two of you though. I get it...he's not for you to boring and normal eh? He stared into her eyes for a long moment as he thought about what she said next. She was playing with two boys....her interest in the other one confused him a bit though, So he has something you want or rather many things? What possibly could this boy possess that the other may not? Kastiel is rather a quite boy from what I seen... Quite could mean dangerous Soph...Do take care of all of your endeavors? He begged of her...She was such a clever girl and brilliant...but she often scared him when he found out what she was up to...she was power hungry and that did worry him...

[size=1Sophie smiled and stood up. It amazed her that Adonis cared, or pretended to care, rather. It made her feel good, even if he may or may not be acting. The mention of both boys' names brought a smile to her face as well. "Oh, don't worry, Adonis. I'm not sleeping with anyone who could hurt me..er, who would want to hurt me anyway. I'm too cute and sassy to boot!" she said with a cocky attitude as she strode for the door. "I won't pretend like I'm not sleeping with one of them. It's just the idea that I could be sleeping with both of them....oh! Now that's a thought! I'd get everything I want!" she said, a sudden excitement in her eyes. However, there was an underlying feeling of betrayal, an untruth, as she said it. There really was just the one boy she even cared about. The other was a game; something ot keep her attention while she wasn't with the other. Suddenly, Sophie wanted to just...be held. "I gotta go. But thanks for the chat." She winked and disappeared out the door, heading toward Kastiel, wondering what it was that made her want to leave Adonis so quickly, but ignoring it and grinning all the way.[/blockquote]
