It had been the first lesson of her class she was a little nervous and hoping everything would go right. She loved teaching Legilimency and Occulemency, it was her passion. She had learned it through her brother when she had been in school and it was very useful. She sat in her chair in front of the empty desks waiting for the students to arrive. She looked through her lesson plan book. Today would be just an introduction to the class hoping some of the other students would enjoy learning it as much as she did. She was so happy she had become a teacher and wished she would have gone to Durmstrang instead of Hogwarts. But, Hogwarts was a good school also.
She sat back in her chair and turning her chair around where the chalkboard and waved her hand making the chalk move. The small piece of chalk had moved and started to write on the board Professor Gaunt, Introduction to Legilimency. She let her hand down and the piece of chalk dropped on its own going back on the ledge. The righting was in calligraphy and she enjoyed writing in calligraphy it was so pretty and so neat. She hated when her hand writing was a mess.
She couldn’t wait for this class to start. The good thing the kids will like about this class is that there won’t be a lot of homework and not many tests. She waved her hand to open up the door and decided to do something to the room to make it look different. She changed the colors to red and black and had candles appear around the room to make it easier to concentrate. She had put a little spell in the candles that would make it easier for the students to open their minds more. The desks were moved around so they would be around in a circle so people could go stand in the middle of the room during the lesson. On each of the desks was a candle that was lit as well.
She was feeling a bit open-minded as well. It made her relax but, since she was good at Occulemency too. She was able to keep her thoughts to herself and have them all locked away letting one slip out or too. She tried to keep a lot of her personal life locked up and not let anyone see them since her brother had just died as well. She waved her wand again making all the chairs turn into the most comfortable chairs you could ever imagine and make the desks turn to black. She sighed and walked back to her chair sitting down waiting and looking at a picture of her and her brother when they were little smiling. “I would never be here right now if it wasn’t for you.”
(Occ: This is going to be after the dance since it’s already October. If anyone wants lessons for this subject or Occulemency let me know. PM me or post in your thread later on towards the end of class.)
