HISTORY:
Nikolai Yuri Arshan was born on July 16, 1997 along with his twin brother Gregorvich Mika Arshan II, it was unclear who was born first since his father was not in the room, Anya knew in her heart that Nikolai was the first born but named his brother after his father. She would later clear this up to his father and then Nikolai would become his fathers favorite.
From a young age Nikolai was always different, when he and his brother were toddlers they would play with their toys that they got for different holidays, one day Greg's toy had broken and he had pushed Niko down and took his toy. Nikolai became so angry that the toy became extremely hot and it gave Greg 3rd degree burns all over his hands. Anya knew right away what was happening but she knew that his father would never grasp the idea and kept it a secret from him claiming that Greg had been curious and touched the stove. Greg and Niko were inseparable not knowing what had really caused Greg's burns on his hands.
By the time that Nikolai was in primary school in London, his accidents became more frequent, he would fall from a window and not get hurt, when he and his brother fought his brother would trip and fall. His father was a powerful businessman who traveled a lot, his mother was a washed up housewife with hired help raising three children, two of them being special. His father was completely oblivious to Nikolai's powers, however Greg was beginning see that both his brother and his sister shared a connection, granted that his sister was 5 years younger than them. He and Niko began to distance themselves. Then the family moved back to Russia to be close to Anya's mother and sisters, Grandma Ludmilla took a particular interest in Niko and Maya, leaving Gregorvich behind when she took the kids out on special field trips. Niko began to learn about the Magical Schools, he learned that his grandma was indeed a witch and the reason why his mother wasn't was because the magic skipped a generation which was common in muggle born witches and wizards. He was signed up with two schools since birth, Hogwarts and Durmstrang. His Grandma went to Durmstrang which had just began to open for Half Bloods, sadly Nikolai went to Hogwarts for the first three years of his life, until Durmstrang opened its doors for MuggleBorns in which case he transferred. When he first got his letter, his father had just come home from a rather important business trip, his mother Anya had recieved the letter and showed it to Nikolai in private. Niko then went with his Grandma to Diagon Alley and received his own bank account and got everything he needed for school. Went he went to Hogwarts his mother told his father and brother that he had gone to Madame Rivenka's School For Gifted Learners. His father was quite proud of him and when he returned for holiday his father showered him with loving attention. His brother was madly jealous and decided to look up the school's roster only to find that his brother was not on it. He proceeded to show this to his father and together they ganged up on Anya and Nikolai, Anya and Nikolai came clean and his father became outraged.
He kicked them out on the spot, leaving his only normal child with him. A month later he hastily called Anya back home and decided that he was going to try to keep Nikolai away from "this freak school". Nikolai wrote his Grandma and in less than 10 minutes she apparated into their house and took him and all of his things and apparated to her house into the city. His father was outraged and demanded that Ludmilla bring him back but she refused, he tried everything from bribery to threats, once his father left Niko would go and visit his mother and sister, he and his brother were completely different people. In his fourth year he was sent to Durmstrang because of the over crowding in Hogwarts accompanying many muggle borns that were meant to go to Durmstrang. He continues to have an estranged relationship with his father and his brother but he was put down for his mothers will and will inherit half of her money plus the money his grandmother has in Gringotts Bank.
