Airous sat by the edge of the black lake looking into its waters. He really didn't talk to many people at the school. He only did if he had to in class but other than that he sat alone in the common room, the great hall, and in classes.
Once again he found himself out past curfew, enjoying the nights air and the quietness of Durmstrang's grounds. He liked sitting here alone. Though he had thought that maybe one day he could enjoy the fresh night breeze with someone he could call....friend. But who was he kidding. He was a freak. He could never be friends with anyone normal.
Airous stared down into his own reflection. He hated the feeling of being alone. He wondered why he wasn't so....social. Airous knew the answer to that. He pulled his knees to his chest and sighed. He hated this part. The part where his father took over who he was with his abuse. The part where Airous was to scared of the world now, to scared to be normal.
Airous blinked when a shadow crossed his path. He wondered who was out this late. Maybe he could run and hide....was it to late? Had they already seen him?

Sure, it was way past curfew and Adèle was supposed to be in bed sleeping, but she just had too much on her mind. Her attempt to make Artemis jealous at the dance had failed and that Cole guy really wasn’t her type to begin with, so here she was, all alone. She never realized how few friends she had until her and Artemis had broken up and she was spending so much more time alone. Tonight though, the weather was so nice that she just couldn’t bear staying inside and sleeping so she decided to come outside and take a walk by the lake. It had been months since she had been on one of these late night walks, and the last time she wasn’t alone and it was very romantic, but as she neared the lake by herself, she felt very lonely. This was probably a bad idea… She thought as she walked around the dark water, remembering the last time she was here, it made her sad and she very much considered just turning around and heading back…that was until she spotted the other person sitting by the edge of the water. He was bound to have seen her already and if she turned back now he might think she was ignoring him, which would not be very polite. Putting on the nicest smile she could put on at the moment, she walked all the way over to him, sitting a few feet away. [red] Hey there, what are you doing out so late all by yourself? [/red] She asked, not really looking at him, but more at his refection in the water.

Neko was out patrolling the school grounds. It was Monday night, the first night since returning from his little paradise weekend with Aydin...it sucked to be back and sucked even more that it was his turn on the list to do the patrolling...He was doing it alone tonight...though he kinda wished Aydin wasn't doing homework and was 'patrolling' with him instead. He sighed as he continued walking and found himself near the Russvatnet Lake...he could hear voices near the shore line and he followed them reluctantly. As he approached he frowned slightly, Adele Sinclair and Airous Fai what are you two doing out past curfew? He asked cocking an eyebrow at them and crossing his arms....
He looked at both of them not really sure if he wanted to go off on them or just join them by the lake...it was such a boring night with Aydin doing homework....He really missed him, stupid prefect bullshit!

Airous didn't want to be spotted here. He knew that it was way past curfew and that he could very well get in trouble if he where to get caught. Though the small ripples in the lake seemed ro call to him to stay. The lake was calming and Airous didn't want to leave. Though if he got in trouble he would be forced to leave no doubt. That's when he saw the girl sit a few feet away from him. Airous watched her from the conor of his eyes as she seemed to be either nervous or lonley. Maybe a hint of both. Airous just shrugged at her question "enjoying the night I suppose."
Airous wonderd who the girl ways until another voice made him jump. There was a hint of power in the boys voice and he seemed to know who Airous was, even though Airous had no clue who the boy was. He stared up at the other as if he had been hit by the boy. Airous knew he had to answer the question but no words where able to come out of his mouth as he stared at him. The air between the three had grown thick and Airous was starting to regret not runing when he had the chance.

Adèle was right about to say something back to the blonde guy by the lake when she heard a very authoritative voice coming from behind them and she knew they were caught. [red] Figures the one time I come out here by myself I would get caught…[/red] She muttered to herself before turning back to see that it was Neko standing there behind them. Was he a prefect? She didn’t really remember but he must have been, judging by the fact that he looked like he was seriously considering writing them up.
[red]Come on Neko, not tonight. Can’t we get away with it just one time? I’m not in the mood to get in trouble and I’m sure neither is my friend over here. [/red] She said, tossing a rock out towards the water before looking back at him. [red] Why don’t you just, let us off the hook, just for tonight and you can sit here with us and just, enjoy the scenery? [/red] She said, giving her eyelashes a bit of a flutter. Sure, she was trying to charm her way out of getting in trouble, but what use were veela powers if she never got a chance to use them.

Neko looked at both of them waiting for them to answer...the boy seemed to be in shock at being caught out past curfew and seemed to be having trouble responding to his questions...He frowned as he looked at him. He seemed so afraid and Neko couldn't help but wonder why the boy seemed so frightened.
As Adele spoke, Neko continued to frown as he listened to her...She tried to get him to let her go by offering him to join in their company and even tried to flutter her eyelashes at him...He smirked slightly at this...Honestly, Adele you should know that your little 'gift' you have over the other boys isn't going to work on me so I would just stop while your ahead okay? He said with narrowed eyes....he knew she was a Veela without a doubt in his mind and he knew better than to fall for such 'glamour' tricks that the Veela's tried to pull over other humans but Neko wasn't human enough to be tricked by her beauty. That and well, he just didn't find girl's in general that attractive...they were pretty but honest just not what he was into, Apparently you didn't realize that I am gay huh? He said as he decided to sit between them.... I'm actually seeing someone as well. He said making light conversation....
He might as well let them off the hook. The Professor patrolling within the school's walls tonight was Jayden and the punishment he would give Adele and Airous for being out so late was much to severe in Neko's opinion. Might as well hang with them and pretend to be human...

Airous blinked when the girl said that he was her friend. Airous honestly had no clue who the girl was at all. "were....not really friends...." he said nervously up at Neko, almost defensively. He watched as the girl seemed to bat her eyelashes at Neko.
Was she a veela? Airous had only heard about them and hadn't actually seen one before. Airous blinked and watched the two. He slowly took two steps back though he never stood he more like crawled backwards. This was not only to make space between him and the other two but also make room for Neko to sit if he chose to.
Good thing Airous had for Neko did sit with them. Airous looked down at his hands and listened to their conversation. He had heard a rumor about Neko being gay. It didn't bother Airous that Neko was. Airous looked down on the waters again wishing once more he could have avoided this social confrontation and had ran off when he had had the chance to.

Adèle was surprised when the guy, Airous finally opened his mouth to say something, it was to clarify that they were not, in fact, friends. Sure, this was the first time in their lives they had ever talked, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t even play along that they were friends for the sake of the trouble they might have been in. Turning her attention back to Neko, she really wasn’t surprised her charms didn’t work on him. From what she had seen of him since he had been here, he hadn’t show any interest in any of the girls in the school. [red]Well, it didn’t hurt to try right? [/red] She said giving a small sigh, leaning back to look up at the sky.
She noticed, as she looked back down that Neko had decided to sit down next to them, which really was a relief. It would have been so boring to have to get detention just for wanting some time alone to think…which really wasn’t alone time to think anymore. What he said though, as he sat down, caught her attention. [red]You’re…oh my goodness…so YOU’RE who Aydin won’t shut up about. We were talking during one of our classes today and it was all about “my boyfriend this and that…” He said you’re name but I guess I didn’t put two and two together until now. [/red] Adèle looked over at Airous, who seemed to be uncomfortable to even be near them. She thought maybe she should say something to him, but she was still a bit upset that he didn’t even want to say they were friends, like he didn’t want to be associated with her.

He laughed slightly as realization hit her...the way the boy seemed to push away from him a bit comforted..at least he wouldn't have to worry about him touching him. He kept a watchful eyes on both as he sat...making sure neither got to close to him...He was talking about me? He said with a smirk, He's so cute...not that I have done any differently lately. I can't stop thinking about him....it's driving me mad in all the right ways. He said with an eyebrow raised, Well that makes my night...so much that I won't turn you two in whether your friends or not... He turned his eyes on both, uhh...your not fooling around out her together though are you? If you are I can go I really don't want to interrupt. He said with a curious look back and forth... He knew that Adele and Artemis had broken up, maybe she was trying get her some then? Prefect or not, he was not one to stand in the way of a good time....he looked at Airous who seemed really nervous.

Airous watched for a moment as the girl stared at him in suprise. It was the truth and he wasn't going to lie, even if it would have saved them a derention. Airous made eye contact with the girl before looking back into the water. The thing was Airous didn't like the school but he rather be bullied here then have to return home. But he still wasn't going to try to make friends yet. Friends brought drama and drama brought stress, which Airous disn't want to deal with. Airous listened as the girl practically squealed at what the other boy had said.
As the boys words hit Airous's ears he turned a beat red "what....NO!" he said almost yelling, looking back at the other two, the back at the water. He moved a few more inches away from the two. "I was here first." he mumbled to himself childishly, not caring if the other two heard or not. Airous took a small pebble and skipped it across the lake, making ripples of water float in circles before their eyes. As he did so his sleeve fell down, revealing a nasty bruise on his arm, as if someone had grabbed him. Airous quickly moved his sleeve back up, hoping they hadn't seen.

Maybe she just should have left him alone and just went to sit on the other side of the lake or something. Then maybe Neko wouldn’t have gotten the assumption that the her and this Airous guy were fooling around out here. That really didn’t surprise her though…what did surprise her was the outburst that came from the blonde boy, like he was seriously upset that someone would assume that about him. Turning her body towards him, she gave him a slight glare. [red] Dude, do you like, have a problem with me or something? I can leave if you want. It will really be no problem. [/red]

Neko smiled and at her, Don't worry I'll keep him so busy he won't even say as much as a flirting word to you. He said with a smile. It was true he knew....Aydin and him were bound by the soul....not only would he feel pain if he did...he also knew that the bind made it impossible to look at anyone in that way anyways...Demons were just different....when they promised each other forever...it meant forever....which is why his dad never promised forever to his mom...he couldn't bare the idea of being with her and her forever...As much as it broke Neko's heart for them not to be together...He understood. Neko was positive about Aydin though...he knew he could trust him with his soul and he knew Aydin knew he could do the same....He nodded as she thanked him for not giving them detention.
Neko watched as Adele and the boy had some sort of exchange that he really didn't understand. He watched curiously for what the boy would say...

Airous the girl spoke to him Airous blinked and stared at her. He wasn't sure how to reply in this kind of situation. What was he suppose to say. That he would be happy if she left or maybe he should be the one to leave? It wasn't her personally. What made him uncofrabley was both of the students sitting by him. Airous shock his head "no. I....just don't want people.....thinking we're fooling around." he said eyeing Neko.
Airous took another peddle and skipped it across the lake once more as he started to drift into his own deep thoughts. He then wondered what it was like to have friends. The two next to him seemed to be very good friends and he was the monkey in the middle who was awkwardly stuck. Though it was nice to have some contact with others. He just wished he could be apart of their conversation and know what they where talking about. To be able to laugh with them about silly school things.

Adèle raised an eyebrow at the blonde boy. It was strange to hear someone say they didn’t want people to think they were fooling around or hooking up or whatever. As much as she didn’t believe it, she was really popular and guys were always trying to get with her, although most of the time she didn’t notice so having someone not even want to be associated with her was sort of strange. [red]Believe me…no one would think the two of us were fooling around. I don’t even know why Neko brought it up. We were like…2 feet away from each other the entire time I’ve been out here. [/red] She said, rolling her eyes at him and picking at what was left of the grass around her. It was, early November and starting to get cold so the grass and what not was basically all dead or yellowing about to die. She didn’t mind winter though. She had been here for years and had basically gotten used to it by now.

Neko smiled at Adele's response to the boy. It was interesting to see the two of them conversing...they probably never would have under any other circumstances. Adele was a queen bee of the school and Airous was....well he was a student. It wasn't like he would be surprised if they were fooling around though. It's not like it has never happened before, really popular girls fall for less popular guys all the time right. It's not that far of guess. He said as he looked over the two of them. Love is blind to social classes...so I certainly don't see why you are surprised that I would suggest such a thing. It could of been quite possible. He looked out into the water and watched the waves swirl slightly in the center of the lake as if something was enjoying the night illuminating on the lake, he could't help but wonder what creatures the lake held.
