Kastiel frowned at her questions about who the girl was...sure the girl and him had a past...but it was nothing more than just that...a past. He has Sophie now and that was more than enough for him...He was about to tell her when his mother appeared.
I'm sorry mum...yes I was made a prefect of Mork Ulv. He told her with an apologetic grin...he had told his father of course, but never gotten around to telling his mother..He felt guilt as he looked into her beautiful eyes. She grinned at Sophie, Hello darling...aren't you so pretty. Almost fairy like... She said fluttering her eyelashes at her...Mom...yea dad has been okay...my brother is getting married so he is all over that right now...he has the entire staff planning a wedding for him. He told her. She smirked, I wonder if Neko's mum knows...I should send her a message to the spirit world...I do hope they remember to invite the poor women...Gosh she is so beautiful..Is Neko the same? She asked curiously...Eh...I'm not sure if she does...Neko looks like...well our father....as do I of course...but he also looks a lot like his mum...freckles across the nose and everything... He said quietly...His mother nodded and smiled. I've always wondered what kind of demon your brother would come out as...growing up in only your fathers care...I suppose he can't be too bad if he has fallen in love...It means he does have some sort of humanity and ability to love...but anyways...Soph...Please tell me about yourself.. She said excitedly as she urged them into the den, I know so little about humans....So don't be surprised if I get a little confused...I have never traveled the human realm before.. She told Sophie and grinned at Kastiel, I have never had the interest like my children do...or well that Adalynn does...Kastiel had to be tricked into going to the human realm...heck I have to trick him into visiting me most of the time. She giggled.

Sophie nodded at all the right times and smiled when she should. She couldn't help but stare at the woman. She was gorgeous. And the idea she had of Sophie looking anything fairylike just about made the girl laugh. Sophie....a fairy.....ridiculous. She was harsh, she was evil, she was a Snape. As the woman guided them to the den, she sat down on the couch and looked at the woman. She wanted to know about her. Oh, shit, now what? HOw do you explain to a fairy that your parents were killed as a child and your uncle took you in, only to give you up in the name of safety? Sophie looked at Kastiel before starting in on her little story about herself. "Um..my uncle is Severus Snape...not that you would recognize the name, but it's true nonetheless. I'm a potions master and..." [/color] Don't mention anything about killing people or finding joy in using your powers to hurt people. That's just bad manners! "....I am the female prefect for Mork Ulv. I live with the Starks and have no family of my blood alive. But they've been kind,"[/color] she said, suddenly feeling like the world's eyes were on her. Kastiel leaned against Sophie as the girls spoke together...he was relieved to hear that Sophie knew what to say and what not to say to is mother. He grinned at both, She is an awesome potions master....she is going to make one hell of a adult witch when she becomes of age. Like, I've tasted a few of her side potions and they are truly excellent. He told his mom as he squeezed Sophie gently. His mother gave him a curious look, Well then...I'm sure the Stark's are quite proud of her. She said with a sweet smile, No, I do not recall who Severus Snape is...though he must of been quite a handsome man if he looks like you. So your a prefect as well? Are you a fifth year or a sixth year? She asked curiously, she knew a little bit about the wizarding world but not too much, So you said your a potions master? What other classes do you like? And what about your least favorite classes? She asked curiously. Kastiel stayed quite, letting the two women feel each other out...

Sophie took in a long breath. THis woman asked a lot of questions. At least they were questions that Sophie could answer truthfully. Not a lot lies, since nothing was hinting at, you know, who'd you last kill, how, why? Since nothign was along those lines, Sophie was safe. "Yes, I'm a fifth year prefect. I do enjoy potions, however, I also enjoy astronomy and herbology. Herbology aids in my potion making, and astronomy is interesting. I think divination is a waste of time and muggle studies is just studying the one thing the school hates. Not to mention the history of magic.....if it's history why do we keep learning about it? It already happened. And don't give some story about how we learn from our mistakes....because we continue to make the same mistakes." Maybe taht was too forward, but Sophie didn't feel like she'd really stepped on any toes and it was all relatively true. She leaned into Kastiel, glancing at him, before looking back at his mother.

Kastiel listened quietly as his mother questioned Sophie and Sophie replied. It was kinda interesting to see how Sophie reacted to his mother. He loved how they seemed to be getting along. At least this was going smooth...he wondered if his father would take to Sophie as well. He didn't really have anything to say...but his mom of course did. She was quite the chatter, Herbology, Potions, and Astronomy are quite fascinating subjects. Divination's? hmm...I suppose they should rethink teaching that subject so openly. Seems like a bit of a waste of time to those without sight...you can't learn the inner eye. She told Sophie, she couldn't help but chuckle at her history comment, History is such a fascinating subject if you give it a chance...You can learn from it as well as keep from making the same mistakes of the wizards before your time...Yes, many humans make the same mistakes but honestly history isn't for those who refuse to learn from it. Only the wise souls truely learn and develop the ability to succeed from the challenges and shortcomings in their past....and muggle studies? Perhaps you shouldn't hate it just because the school does...maybe you will find some interesting things about the lower species. Animals are fascinating, as are humans in general. My daughter Adalynn practically begged to finish her schooling in the wizarding world. She finds the whole society fascinating, wise child. She smiled and then looked at Kastiel for a long moment, Did you know that Kastiel wants to be a historian someday... the boy loves history. She said with a large smile.
Kastiel moved slightly uncomfortable in his seat as she turned the subject to him...sure she was truthful but there was some things he didn't let everyone know, Yes, anyways... He mumbled before glancing at Sophie and then away from her...

 Sophie looked at Kastiel. Well isn't that sweet. He didn't tell her a lot about himself did he? Well that was just lovely. She could easily get over that, but it was the idea that she had to hear it from his mother. Sighing, Sophie scooted closer to him, kissing him sweetly on the cheek. "Yes, well...there are lots of things we still need to get to know about each other. We still have time," she muttered, trying to catch his gaze. It was a lovely place, his mother was a lovely lady, but nothing mattered to her unless he was with her. Sophie suddenly realized how much he meant to her. "All I know is that...my world is void without Kastiel. Just a....darkness that can't overcome. But with Kastiel, that darkness isn't so...unbearable. With him...I can see in the dark." Okay, so maybe, juuuust maybe she was overstepping some invisible boundary, not knowing how his mother would react to her words, but...they were true and all mothers like to hear sweet things about their sons dont' they? She held his hand, still trying to find his gaze. "I do believe I fall more in love with him every day."

Kastiel looked into her eyes with a guilty frown as she muttered they needed to know a lot more about each other...it wasn't his fault really. The subject never came up between them...not even a word about it...but why would it when most of the time they spent together was having sex or arguing? He frowned slightly...sure he knew she wanted to be a Potion's Master...but did she really even know him? What about him did she know...what did she love? He felt a nervous streak inside of him as he realized how little they knew about each other.
His mother chuckled slightly at her next comment and Kastiel stared into her eyes for a long intense moment....an intimate moment between the two of them...Sophie made his world light up as well...Well then...maybe there is some faery in you after all Kastiel. She said with a wink to Sophie, In love with him? You love him do you? She said aloud with a look to both him and Sophie, Kastiel and what do you have to say of this son? Do you love Sophie? Can you...are you? She said in a confused look into Kastiel's eyes...
Kastiel looked into his mother's eyes and bit his lip. I can...somehow...I can.. he told his mother, I didn't think it would be possible but when I met her it was like I had no choice at all...I just fell hard for her. He mumbled slightly with a nervous glance at Sophie.

Sophie looked at Kastiel with no emotion. Of course that course of action was deliberate, to mask the emotions she was feelign at any given moment. Because at this moment, she was about to slap that boy from one side of his face to the other. What kind of an answer was that? He fell hard for her? She just got done telling his mother, of all people, that she was completely in love with him, and he just...fell hard for her? He had completely duped her. He'd let her believe that he was exactly what she needed and wanted. He pretended to be hers. "Well, this has been lovely. But..I have an exam to prepare for. Can we go back now, Kastiel?" She asked, smiling sweetly at both Kastiel's mother as well as him.
Sophie was the first to stand up. She offered his mother her hand. "Thank you very much for the evening. It was wonderful and your home is....beyond words. I hope to see you again," and with that she lead the way to the front door, hoping that Kastiel realized that she truly was leaving. There was no reason for her to stay at his mother's home when apparently he barely had any reason to have brought her there at all. Sophie was completely done making a fool of herself. Sophie Snape wasn't a fool. She was smart, and she could tell that Kastiel was either embarrassed to say he loved her, or he didn't. Either way, Sophie didn't want a part of that. She waited for him at the door, clenching her teeth, but still showing no emotion on her face. She just wanted to get out of there and back to her room where she could release herself into her books.

Sophie groaned as they hit the lawns hard. She was so infuriated with him that she was nearly about to forget why. What exactly had he done? Oh, right. "I will get to my studying. Why? Becauase apparently spending the evening with me seems less than nothign to you. Well I have other things to get to then, if me loving you means so much as nothing." She said, glaring after him. It was really quite a scene, she realized. He was stalking passed her already toward the castle and in order for her to get to the castle, she had to storm passed him. That alone was ridiculous, so after a moment of standing in the cold, she growled and followed after him. "What was that back there, Kastiel?! I poured my heart out and you basically said nothing in return!" She shouted catching up to him and spinnign him around by the arm. For a moment she regretted touching him in such a manner, but she also knew that she needed to talk to him.

Kastiel couldn't believe the words out of her mouth and it pissed him off so much, What do you mean Sophie? Why do you believe I don't want to spend time with you? Your the one running away from me...You loving me, means everything to me. Excuse me for not wanting to pour my heart out to you in front of my mom... He said with a glared in her direction, My mother and I do not discuss such things...especially things that make me seem weak. Do you think I want my mother...a faery for the love of death, know that it is possible for me to love? Do you know what my mother would do with that information? Do you know who she would tell! I would be wrapped around her fingers if she could find a way to control me...and let alone what Adalynn would do with that information...No..You didn't think about anything..you just blew up like always. He growled.
As she touched his arm, it took all he had inside of him to keep from hurting her with his demonic powers...He stared into her eyes with cold darkness, Sophie...I am in love with you. I have been since we have met and it has only intensified... If that alone isn't good enough for you...then I don't know what to say. All I want to do is be with you...if that's not enough...fine but don't get pissy with me at stupid crap like this if I'm not good enough for you. He said as he slammed the door open and walked inside...
