Gjende Lake is a beautiful narrow lake that touches the Galdhøpiggen Mountains. It is a favorite of the students to do cliff diving during the summer...and a favorite place to ice skate during the winter months.

The Dungeons of Durmstrang are located through a entrance from behind the grand staircase. Students simply need to walk around the grand staircase into the narrow and dark entrance way. The dungeons passage ways are lit only by brilliant red flickers of candle light. The Dungeons hold many secrets as well as classes. Perhaps you may even find your home here?

The main floor of Durmstrang holds entrance hall which leads to the grand straircase as well as many classrooms down either the west or east halls connected to the entrance hall. Near the left of the stairs is also the entrance to the Durmstrang Great Hall.

Durmstrang's 2nd floor is full of various class rooms in the east halls and in the west you'll find the hospital wing as well as the access to the Headmaster's Office.

Durmstrang's Third Floor is a floor you'll love to visit or hate depending on your reason for coming to the floor...The Prefects bathroom is found in the North hall of the Third Floor, if your the lucky few who get a chance to visit the place..enjoy. If you need a book visit the large library just right of the staircase, whether its a delightful tale or a book on your current assignment you will find it all. Don't forget to take a left off the stairs to visit the entertainment hall.. movies play on Saturday nights, you'll find chess boards, and perhaps a warm place next to the fire to curl up with a friend.

The uppermost floor (besides the two towers) is something to venture...empty classes are often used for school clubs, such as the Dueling Club and the A.P.C (Aspiring Professor's Club). Also if you need the extra help...the empty classrooms are excellent for a place to meet your tudor!

Vakkar is a gorgeous town...the town sit on the other side of Russvatnet Lake...student's are advised to only go there on weekends and special events when the school ship can take them across. Vakkar is home to many shops such as ice cream shops, pubs, joke shops, etc...

Evig Flamme Avenue is located outside of Vakkar...you must take the trail though the forest to reach this small lane located in the Dark little neighborhood. Not one good witch would ever be caught dead here...on second thought any good witch probably would be 'caught dead' here. Evig Flamme Avenue is home to many dark wizard homes and many shops that with 'unique qualities'.

The Muggle Mountain Town of Lom in Jotunheimen is town with a Village feel. Things you can do in Lom is s rafting, horseback riding, canoeing, caving and hiking as well as tasting some good traditional Norwegian food. The few muggleborns the school now has to allow entrance are from this town and here you can find there homes.

The Norway Ministry of Magic is hidden in between Norway and Sweden border's and rules over both countries in the Wizarding World. The entrance to the Ministry is through a cave with a mouth that resembles a dragon.
